Crystal Blue Cruises offers cruises in Spring Lake and Grand Haven MI. Choose an exciting trip on Lake Michigan, a lazy ride up the Grand River, or a scenic tour of the historic homes surrounding Spring Lake...or do it all. Our boat, Parrots Bay, is documented and inspected by the DNR and USCG, and our captains Kim and Paul are USCG licensed master captains. Our flock of parrots often rides along!

Our group of friends and family spent an amazing evening on Captains Kim & Paul’s beautiful yacht! Communication from start to end was impressive. Kim gave us all the info needed to make and pay for our reservation online, and sent precise directions to our parking spots in the marina. We were made to feel welcomed and comfortable the minute we met them, and were given key safety information before leaving the marina. Kim and Paul are professional, and at the same time so fun and entertaining! Our cruise was beyond anything we expected! We had spectacular weather, a calm lake, and a stunning sunset! The two hours we were onboard went by way too fast, and we were sad to see it come to end. Afterwards, Captain Kim even sent photos that they took of our time on our sunset cruise! This was the most incredible way to experience one of Lake Michigan’s famously gorgeous sunsets! We can all highly recommend taking Crystal Blue Cruise’s Sunset Cruise…and would even say it qualifies as a bucket list item! Thank you to Captains Kim and Paul!

Miss Laurie, thank you so much for such an amazing review! I’m so glad you all enjoyed your cruise. The weather & lake were perfect & that sunset… a definite stunner!! Add those elements to the pleasure of sharing the evening with your group of friends & family… priceless!! Our family enjoyed a stunning Michigan sunset aboard the Parrot's Bay with Captains Kim and Paul. We were welcomed and comfortable on their beautiful boat. This was the highlight of our quick getaway to Grand Haven, and we will return for another fantastic cruise around Lake Michigan with them!

We did the Crystal Blue sunset cruise on Lake Michigan with five in our group and loved it! Captains Kim and Paul were fun people. The boat was beautiful and we loved sitting on the front of the boat watching the sunset. They are very knowledgeable about Lake Michigan.The water was calm and a smooth ride. The boat was easy to find at the marina and parking spot saved for us. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a personal cruise to charter.

Our first trip with Captains Paul and Kim was nothing short of amazing. Their “boat” is gorgeous and well kept. Paul and Kim themselves are not only consummate professionals, guarding both our enjoyment and safety, they are highly personable and quickly became part of our group. Navigating unpredictable weather and waterways is no easy task, but they are champs and know what to do in any situation. We vowed to come back soon! Worth every penny!

Captain Kim & Captain Paul were fantastic hosts and made us feel completely at home and comfy! We saw an amazing sunset on a beautiful night and the pier lights were so cool too. So appreciated all of the special details, especially knowing what a long day they had out on the water. We want to come back!

I highly recommend Crystal Blue and Kim and Paul! I booked a sunset cruise to propose to my girlfriend and Kim/Paul made sure everything was perfect! The views were perfect, the boat was comfortable and nice, and Kim and Paul were amazing hosts that were great to talk to. They really went above and beyond and took pictures, provided cake and champagne, and even let Diesel the cockatoo stay up past his bedtime to welcome us!
We will be sure to book a cruise on Parrot's Bay whenever we return to Michigan!

Captain Kim and Paul were awesome! The boat was clean and new. Communication was great and they went out of their way to make our experience amazing. Paul took our girls out on the bow for a breathtaking sunset with the lighthouse in view and gave them a rockin’ trip back to the marina! Crystal Blue cruises is a professional, too notch way experience the water! Highly recommend!

Our group of old and new friends spent a perfect evening on our sunset cruise aboard the Parrot’s Bay. Captains Kim and Paul were wonderful hosts and knowledgeable guides to ensure our comfort as we were blessed with spectacular views. It was an evening to remember!

We had a fabulous time on our sunset cruise. Kim and Paul were great hosts and we enjoyed the conversation throughout the 2 hr cruise. The weather didn’t give us the best sunset that evening but Kim and Chris ensured we got the best pictures possible. The view of the pier and harbor at night is gorgeous. Thanks for a great evening.

My wife, 5yr old and I had an amazing time with Captains Paul and Kim. The boat is exceptionally clean, and spacious although with the history that Captain Paul provides along the way, and the warm personalities they both have we didn't feel the need to roam.
We had some rain along the way but it didnt take away from the experience in the least, in fact in may have added to it.
*A side note worth mentioning. The weather was very unpredictable during our stay in Grand Haven, in fact we had to reschedule the cruise on the orginal day it was scheduled. Captain Kim was in constant contact with me and let us know that safety and our comfort came first.
From the original conversation through us saying goodbye at the end of the cruise the whole thing was incredible.

Ryan, thank you so much! We’re glad we were able to get your family out for a ride, even though we missed Rachel’s birthday!! I think getting rained on added to the excitement of watching the storm roll in with those beautiful clouds! Thank you for contacting Crystal Blue Cruises! If you haven’t done so already, feel free to visit our website for pricing & other information. The website features a photo of our boat; we have had people with disabilities onboard, but we aren’t “wheelchair” accessible; take a peek & see what you think. We are also able to help a person board/disembark if needed but I’ll let you be the judge, being that I’m not familiar with the level of ability. We depart from North Shore Marina but have been allowed to board/disembark from the municipal marina with prior permission.
