We visited here last night. This is such a unique and interesting attraction. There is plenty of seating and the show is just long enough to make it worth the visit but not so long that the kids got bored.

A family fun bleacher-style seating event. They play music to water with lighting that goes with the flow of the music. It does not start until it gets dark (this time of year -late July- it starts at 10). Bring a hoodie or a blanket...More

Having to wait around until 10:00 PM is not worth the time. It's okay if you are in the area already, but do not go out of your way.

...although don't expect the Bellagio...but it is a very nice ending to a a great day in Grand Haven. Price is right (free or donation) and there is a lot of patriotic camaraderie. Everybody was singing at the finale. Even kind of emotional.

We were only visiting for one day/night but we're glad we took the time to see the musical fountain. It was a unique and fun experience for our entire group, ranging from 6 years to tweens to adults. We enjoyed the boardwalk prior the show,...More

No visit to Grand Haven is complete without sitting on the bleachers or the grass on the waterfront and taking in the "worlds largest musical fountain". It has been updated over the years with better sound and equipment but the effects are still from the...More

Definitely worth an hour of your time if you are in the area. I have lived here my entire life and I catch performances of the musical fountain every summer. If you are not familiar with the concept - just think of the fountains in...More

We stayed in a condo right across the channel from the fountain, and we enjoyed it every night of our too short week there. Twice we walked across to sit in the bleachers, but we really didn't need to go to enjoy the music and...More

The musical fountain is really fun. The music played when we went was wholesome and upbeat. It starts pretty late, but we kept our small children up so we could experience this together. They loved it. Both of my kids were dancing and laughing while...More

It is always fun to gather family on the grass to watch the Musical Fountain. Just relax and enjoy the music and the fun lights.

The fountain is at the base of a tall dune on the north shore, that puts you either at the top of the dune, or on the wrong side to see it.I believe the top of the dune is inacessable. Sorry.

Fountain viewing is free .. you sit on the river bank on the opposite side of the Grand River. If you a lucky enough to get a seat on Snug Harbor's deck, you can see the fountain show from there.
