Played Sugar Springs for the first time. Staff was very nice and helpful. The course was in excellent condition. It was a fun place to play. There is some water and sand on the course. A par 36 course with 5 sets of tees from 6,362 to 4,225-yards. If in the area a good course to play.

Well maintained grounds.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

We bought a house in Sugar Springs because we loved the golf course and we still do. The staff is great. Mark, the Pro, runs a great golf camp for kids which our 3 grandsons enjoyed. Groundskeepers keep the course in excellent shape and volunteers decorate with flowers

Hidden gem in mid Michigan. Very nice course with sand and water. I think it's a gorgeous, well maintained course. Nonmembers pay just over $40, which is a fair price for this course.

I played this course for the first time. I really enjoyed it.

First of all, they have very nice people working there. The staff was very nice and friendly. They have a nice little Pro shop and next to it is a restaurant.

The course has 18 holes and do not be fooled., this course is tougher than it looks. They have two Par 3's that you must go over water that are both over 200 yards playing the Blue. With the wind blowing directly at you, it can be a challenging shot.

The greens were in great shape. The course itself was in good shape. The bunkers were well maintained.

Cost was $38.00 for a non resident on a Saturday.

I enjoyed playing here. Would definitely play here again.

This golf course is open to the general public. It is 18 holes of a challenge golf. Placement of the sand traps and water make it a challenge to play. It is a gem that is hidden in Sugar Springs, Gladwin, MI.

I wanted to learn to golf so I went to the Pro shop at Sugar Springs and spoke to the golf Pro, Mark. I explained to him that I had never even held a golf club before and he smiled and said there was no problem. I set up my first lesson and really enjoyed it. He had the patience of a saint! I highly recommend taking some lessons even if you're already a seasoned golfer. I will be taking my third lesson in the near future.

Course was not as pretty as many northern courses. Landscaping was nice and staff was helpful, cheerful. Grill was very good.

Nice course enjoy golfing with family when visiting family on Lake Lancer. Be sure to grab a bite to eat at the clubhouse after a round of golf. We will always miss Anthony a great bartender that moved away for other opportunities but many of the other staff provide great service and are very friendly!
