You will always see elk here although they may be far away. The elk viewing spots in the pigeon river forest are fun but you don't always see elk. This is a sure thing just a few blocks from downtown Gaylord.

I wouldn't really call it a park so much as what I saw was a large fenced in enclosure with some elk in it and some feed for them put near the fence. I wasn't that thrilled, and the elk did not seem enthused to...More

Take a few minutes or take an hour you won't be disappointed. Some time they are not close enough to find the experience perfect, but to watch these magnificant animals graze or hear them buggle - one of God's greatest!

Was a cool place to kill an hour. Big elk on premises very close to where you view them. There was another group of animals that were further off was hard to tell what they were. If you know your going in advance bring binoculars.

Great stop. Has high fence you can walk up to and the elk were right there feeding, and laying down. Lots of good size bulls.

We visited on a Friday night at dusk. There were several elk up and down the fence line. Several were eating and we witnessed two huge elk sparring with each other. Quite a few had huge racks, something I hadn't seen before. Parking lot is...More

What you see depends on where the Elk are - but we were able to drive up real close. The antlers were impressive. Not far out of your way and worth seeing.
