My first visit to Otsego Lake State Park was a long time ago when my parents took our family on a camping vacation. Even then, this park offered me everything I needed to enjoy a week of vacationing. The park had a nice playground full of swings, Merry-go-rounds, baseball diamonds, the beach was one of the best, the park store... More

You wouldn't think of a state park for a business meeting but someone did. The meeting took place in the parks recreation building. It was large enough for the 30+ people in our group. The bathrooms were located beside the building and easily accessible. The parking for the event was ample. We used the tables and chairs already set up... More

I have been here twice, once in 2013 and 2016. The beaches are nice and the water is lovely. Check it out. It's a pleasant place to go in Gaylord.

We purchased a State Park pass to use on our two week vacation. We are from Texas and had a cottage rented but we loved seeing the State Parks for day visits. There was a fishing dock here and a pretty beach. We did not catch any fish the day we were there but had a great time being outdoors... More

The park was great, host walking around greeting and talking about the weekends planned activities. Was quiet as expected (people-wise) at quiet time, which was nice for such a busy weekend. Road side sites were a bit noisy with car noise. Beach was nice. FYI we got to check in at 2:49 and they made it clear that next year... More

We stopped here unexpectedly & were very impressed with this park. We were mainly by the beach area, but the camping part looks very shady. The beach area was very clean. We liked that the beach was more narrow than your typical big west shore beaches. We were here for only a few hours, but we liked what we saw.

My husband and our 3 little girls stayed in site 105. It was a great site with a view of the lake across the street and there was an extra wooded area next to our site that gave the kids more space to run. The bathrooms were newer on this side of the park. We loved the beach. It was... More

You have to enter this state park or have a state park pass you paid for when you bought your car license plate. Their is a nice beach and water area to Otsego Lake. Fun day trip bring bug and sun spray, towels and picnic. Fun place to fish.

We have been having my wife's family reunion here for 3 years now. Everyone seem to really enjoy being here. The staff are all very helpful. We usually have between 65 and 75 people to keep happy and they do a fine job. We swimming, boating, playground and other games. Some sand, but not a lot of beach. We always... More
