About
Our family had always been fascinated by alpacas, but it wasn't until 2001 that we decided to bring six of them to our farm. We fell even more in love with these gentle, unique creatures. Not only are they the perfect farm animal, but alpacas also...more

The alpacas are the cutest creatures and we’re happy to eat gently out of our hands. If you can afford any of the goods made from the alpaca you can expect it to be super soft! Not a lengthy outing it sure to be enjoyed.

If you’ve got the time and the inclination, your visit can include an extra treat – feeding alpacas and donkeys. It’s inexpensive and loads of fun, especially for the kids. We included this activity in our most recent visit and had a fine time. Try...More

Hours are 10-5 M-Sat I believe. The alpacas are sweethearts and will come up to you to visit. The owners run the boutiques and educate guests. Must stop by. There are picnic tables for guests to sit on and observe the alpacas. Their gestation is...More

Begin your visit by viewing the alpaca herd across the driveway from the boutiques. This herd has dark brown alpacas, others sporting various shades of tan, and a pure white alpaca or two. These alpacas seem very gentle and are obviously used to having humans...More

There are actually two related stores here. All kinds of clothing made from alpaca fleece (wool?). It IS expensive. Socks are highly recommended. Apparently they keep your feet cool in warm weather and warm in cool weather. Don't know about that yet, but they are...More

In the past, our only reason for taking the River Road to Frankfort was to visit Gwen Frostic’s. Now that we know that the Crystal Lake Alpaca Boutique is also on the River Road we will be all the more eager to take that route....More

What a sweet little farm. You can watch the Alpacas in the pasture and shop in the boutique. The staff/owner is friendly and willing to answer questions about the animals and the shop.

There are no hours posted. Just go by and you will see the Alpacas grazing outdoors. I am guessing the gift shop would be open after 10AM.
