The pictures doesn't do it justice. Overwhelming feeling looking up at the ceiling of Jesus. I imagine that is what entering heaven will be like. Would love to go back for Christmas Service.

We attended St. Lorenz as guests for the Christmas Eve Service, it was so lovely and special that even our three year old sat still the whole service.

A must see when you are visiting Frankenmuth. The building dates back to 1845, and the stained glass windows go from the floor to the ceiling ! Incredible painting of Jesus above the alter. Just breathtaking.

This is a beautiful historic church. There is a self guided tour that you can take when the church isn't being used for services that describes not only the building but also the history the church played in establishing Frankenmuth as a community.
