Stopped by on a drive from bothers Michigan to Cincinnati. Spent an hour. Will have to come back to spend a weekend and really do the town justice.

Family and I visited the Frankenmuth River Place Shops in July 2016. The stores are made to resemble Bavarian style buildings set within a modern shopping area. Stores are clean and decent, but nothing that was extraordinary. Worth strolling through between Bronners and downtown core.

We enjoyed our visit to the River Place Shops. The miniature fairy gardens were fun to see. Plenty of free parking. Lots of unique shops to see with things you don't find everywhere else.

Love the addition of Cherry Republic. The grounds are nicely laid out and maintained. There is also a store that had fresh beignets.

Such a lovely little shopping area but felt underwhelmed by the shops. Thought it would be a good place to spend a little rainy time on an afternoon but there are no awnings and all stores have outside entrances so we got very wet going from store to store. Loved the Cherry Republic store and the kids enjoyed the toy... More

I felt as if this was put in place for the one person in the group who didn't want to go to Frankenmuth. It's filled with tacky stores that you would find anywhere else in USA. Apart from the buildings and walkways, it had nothing to do with the areas history or Germany. The stores included Yankee candle, arcade, pet... More
