What a nice addition to the Frankenmuth community! This small farmers market has a very nice permanent facility on the northern edge of town. Good variety of vendors with everything from salsa to blueberries and flowers to baked goods. I especially liked the vendor from a local orchard and a premium tea merchant. The tea from this vendor was outstanding. I went on a Saturday morning, I believe they have weekday hours too. A nice way to spend some time on a Saturday morning.

Cute store with Michigan themed items that is open all year round. As for the outside Farmers market, it's open Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer and has many fruits, veggies, normal farm market items. The donuts from Butter crust bakery are fantastic! It annoys me that someone gave it two stars because they went in December and only the store was open. Ummm.... There's no outdoor farmers market in Michigan where you're going to pick up fresh corn in December! People are weird. Prices are a bit more expensive than you'd find at a roadside stand, but not terrible.

I like the locally grown fruits and vegetables! They are fresh and ripe. Prices are reasonable. The variety is good. Worth a stop.

We love going to the Frankenmuth farmers market on Saturdays. On Saturdays, they are open from 8am - 2pm. They are also open Wednesday afternoons, but I'm not sure of the time. Enough vendors to spend about 30 minutes to an hour shopping or looking. It's enjoyable because it isn't super large and there are a variety of vendors.
Now that it is August, there are a wonderful assortment of vegetables! There are also cheese, flowers, a few vendors for baked goods (e.g. Butter Crust Bakery (which is AMAZING)), knife sharpeners, soaps, lotions, teas, coffee, a back massage booth, and more. Some vendors only come once a month or so, for example, a woman who makes clever and beautiful glass jewelry, or a gentleman who sells jewelry made entirely of beans (so neat to see - honestly!).
Overall, if you live in Frankenmuth, you've got to come by a handful of times during the season. If you don't, this would be an enjoyable trip once a season, or if you're in the area.

Had a great time visiting the farmer's market in Frankenmuth. A wide variety of shops run by very nice people. My girlfriend and I were initially confused as a sign directed us into a small room with only a small hand full of vendors. After a moment though we saw another sign that directed us out the back to a large, heated tent with a much larger number of vendors.

We searched this out expecting great things but it really shuts down and only has a very small store in the winter months.

We visited on a Wednesday in early June, before tons of produce is available. Because of this, it was pretty small. However, the vendors that were there had great booths. We stopped at each one and people were happy and friendly. We got great deals from one vendor and really enjoyed talking with her. In addition to produce, there were some craft items, herbs, a cookbook and kettle corn. There is a small gift store inside that has many unique items from the vendors for sale. One of the highlights was a young girl playing the harp. She was incredible! I can only imagine how great this would be a month from now when more vendors are there.

Market Manager, Ed Sunday was very accommodating and welcoming to our business women's meeting of 12 people. I've also been in their gathering barn for a lovely bridal shower and visited the store. A delightful venue for small gatherings and an excellent market too.
