Great beach with wonderful beach shade, splash pad, swing sets, showers, etc. Great place to spend an afternoon. Sandy beach and water appeared very clean. I was pleasantly surprised. Another improved and great Genesee Co Park and Recreeation attraction

The staff is friendly and we absolutely love the splash pad/playground but other than that the beach and the facilities leave much to be desired. There is a large beach and with the splash pad and large playground (plus smaller playground and bike paths) there is plenty for the kids to do. But the bathrooms are awfully dirty and dingy... Everyone wants to have fun! Come to Bluebell Beach. Pack a picnic lunch or bring stuff for dinner and cook out, while the stuff is cooking on the grill, lets go swimming! You can have fun throwing a Frisbee, play catch, or just sit around the camp and have a great time talking. It is a place to keep cool... More

The water in the splash pad was COLD. Restrooms were kind of gross. Vending machines didn't work well. But water was mainly algae-free and not too deep. Plenty of kids to play with. Shaded areas were occupied the whole time though. Needed first aid and the "rangers" didn't know what to do for a nosebleed!

I would not go anywhere close to this place. It is routinely closed because of e.coli. Not in the safest place of town either. Your best bet would be to stay away.

We live near and would never go. Always a rough crowd from Flint and not a very nice place for healthy families.

Was just a great place to run and play.. wide open spaces and a great beach with room to swim. BUT on our first visit out this spring we noticed they have added four(?) new huge picnic shades!! They are all down by the water which is where they were needed! Fantastic!

on my lunch breaks I go here to eat lunch, once in a while I will have my family bring the kids out to play on the play ground while we eat.
