This park is a gem in an area that you're not expecting to see it in. The trail is paved or Boardwalk and not physically demanding. The falls are very interesting (man made) and quite scenic. They seem to be giving the park a facelift, with favourable results. Lots of people around, yet not crowded. We enjoyed our stop here.

We weren't going to stop because of some of the reviews but very glad we did. It looks like it had gotten a little run down but seen obvious signs of repairs and new construction. The falls part itself is beautiful. I only wish we had a little more time to check out the trails

I heard so much about stepping stone falls from friends and relatives that live in the area until I decided to put it on one of the things to see while on vacation in Michigan. So I called the park office and got information on hours of operation. On the weekend of July 4th, we went to the falls. they... More

Contrary to some of the older comments below, the county appears to be making improvements to the park area this summer. It looks like a new bridge has been installed, and a new stairway is being built down to the lower viewing level. New flowers had been planted. And the trail through the park has been signed as part of... More

I rated Stepping Stone "Average" because of the poor maintenance by the county. But I desperately want to give this an Excellent rating. Because It’s still a really neat little sight to see and a beautiful hike/walk through the woods. The falls are still functional (unlike the DownTown Flint River Walk). There are many picnic tables and the park is... More

We LOVE this place. My small fry and i spent a lot of time there this summer walking through the park. We did this four to five times a week, walking from the falls around the path to bluebell beach and back. It is so picturesque, but a little scary through the wooded areas- i wish they had more security presence,... More

This is such a gem in the Flint community. Its very peaceful and you get to feed fish to. THey are waiting for you! So go visit them today...or go and night and check out the lights and the fish will still eat...I usually take some crackers with me.

This is a neat way to build an attraction around a city Dam. The look is really neat and the viewing area is nice. I saw it during the day and in winter so it was too cold to hang out at, but I hear it's gorgeous at night when they light it up. Probably a better spring or summer... More
