Fun and very easy hike from stepping stone falls to Blue Bell Beach. Nice to take a swim before heading back.

We took a drive and picked this as our destination, because it looked interesting for a short walk on a winter day. But the gate was locked. The park web site does have it listed as closed. I just didn't notice that. SEASONAL GATE CLOSURES Starting Tuesday 11/12 all seasonal gates will close for the season: Stepping Stone Falls plus six other parks. We will have to try again in the spring.

The falls were further down Branch Rd (entrance on the left) than our map showed. My husband and I were there just before sunset. There were lots of seagulls flying around near where we parked & we saw several ducks in and out of the water. Pretty area with picnic tables and benches. There's a rest room bldg. as well. There's also a foot bridge that leads to a trail. Enjoyed our short visit!

My husband and I took our 2 year old. She loves going for walks. Everytime I go there it.is so peaceful and relaxing walking in nature. They keep up on the maintenance so it always looks presentable. If you are looking for quality time with your family and you love nature this is the place to go.
