After my dear mother paid $130 for fruit, we went to pick our 4 pints of raspberries. There was 4 adults and my granddaughter. She was holding the pint for her Aunt. We were almost done and the lady from the pay station came storming over and proceeded to yell at my 80 year old mother. She was saying how she told her only four in the field because we had four pints. We were like we only have four my granddaughter was just holding the pints. My dear mom couldn’t even get a word in. She was also ranting that my mother’s pint was too full. The raspberries had no taste and they were rotting on the bushes. We just were shocked to be treated so rudely. Do not patronize this rude business.

Send out information they say they will when we need to know! Like when certain apples are ready to be picked, in advance of the variety being sold out! Owners do not seem to care about we the public. Working people are very helpful. At least they could put a message on the phone number they say to call that tells current situation.
Why do I continue to go there? Because of the apple varieties and the working people! Go on Monday until Fri. noon!

The corn maze here was fun and also a little bit challenging. They had two different ones to complete. I felt that it was appropriately priced, and my family had a great time. We also took a few minutes to pick apples and the apples were delcious. I like that this is just a corn maze and not the 100 other activities that can be overpriced and geared toward younger kids. Sometimes you just want to do only the corn maze!

This is definitely a don’t miss if you’re in the Saugatuck area. The cow train and hayride were big hits, as was the maze. The lunch food was tasty and quickly prepared. Don’t miss the cinnamon sugar donuts—they’re amazing.

We wanted to take our kids to pick apples at this orchard like we did when we were kids. We were followed everywhere, with employees on golf carts watching our kids through the rows of apple trees. It was real creepy. They seem obsessed with children having fun at the orchard, constantly following and watching them to make sure they weren't goofing around, like throwing or wasting apples. It was really awkward, and these people spoiled an otherwise fun wholesome family event. Our kids kept asking us, why are they staring at us, watching, following us, they're scaring me, can we go. These people should be ashamed of themselves. We left and went to the County Fair which was wonderful! We won't go to this orchard again. I bought a ton of apples from them. But, won't ever return, or recommend this place to anyone with children, or any minorities. They followed and watched us the whole time we were there, and made us feel like criminals. Horrible people. Just horrible. I expected better for a small country town place. But it was clear they run it as a business, and not as a wholesome place for good old fashioned family fun.

We are so sorry that you did not find your experience here with us enjoyable. Crane Orchards (The farm on the same side as the restaurant with the long white fence) has always strived to be family oriented. Our employees do ride around the farm the make sure they are available to all our customers in case anyone needs help or has questions. Yes there are times they do have to make sure no one is throwing apples as this is a safety issue that could affect other customers. We would hate for someone to get hurt. They are not around to spy on anyone or to make you feel uncomfortable. We wish we could have talked to you in person to put you more at ease at that time. We hope someday you will give us a second chance to show you a fun family experience.

We were a little hesitant having read some of the very negative reviews online - but boy are we glad we went.

We had fun picking apples, choosing some pumpkins, and playing in the corn maze. The staff was friendly, pricing reasonable, and the setup was pretty good. Yes you may have to wait a few minutes to check out, and the owners do ask that you check out and then move your vehicle when you transition from orchard to corn maze - but it is hard to understand the negativity of reviewers here and on other platforms. Hoping that putting this positive review out there will alleviate concern for the next reader!

They sell the best no sugar added cherry pies. We usually buy several and freeze to bake at a later date. Their chicken pot pie is also really good!!

Our second time visiting. Apples were plentiful and delicious. Staff very friendly.
Afterwards the four year olds did the corn maze with their dads and loved it.

Had the the opportunity to visit the restaurant and apple orchard last weekend and had a wonderful time. First we had breakfast at the restaurant which is like a museum. The breakfast menu is small but everything we had from the breakfast sandwiches to the cider donuts were excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. Next stop was the apple orchard where the kids could get out and run. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and nice. They sell all there apples for an unbelievable .99 cents per pound. If you like Michigan Honey Crisp apples you know what a steal this is compared to grocery store prices.

We love this orchard. We always stop by in September to pick apples when we visit the South Haven area. This year we picked "Blondies"...they were very crisp and delicious!
