Went on a charter 8/22/22 and Capt. Eric and Mate Chris were very knowledgeable and top notch. We hooked into 11 salmon and landed 7. Will definitely return again and highly recommended Gold Coast Charter and Capt. Eric. We were not disappointed and didn't leave empty handed.

Our family had a great time fishing with Gold Coast Charters while on our annual trip up north! We caught 14 good size Lake Trout and 5 Salmon. I reeled in a 22 lb King and can hold the title for the biggest catch until we go out again next year. Thanks again to Captain Eric and his mate Wayne for a great time and enough fish to last us a while.

I had so much fun fishing for my first time on Lake Michigan with Captain Eric on board the Trophy Cup! Eric was super patient with me, a beginning fisher, and explained everything and answered all my questions. The boat is clean and comfortable and it was a beautiful morning when we were out. I caught a 21-pound King salmon! Fish cleaning was efficient and was included with the trip. I can't wait to fish again with Gold Coast.

Gold Coast was generous enough to donate their time, equipment and their boat to the Charity Veterans Fishing Tournament, Tight Lines For Troops. It was a pleasure to fish with Eric and Wayne on the Trophy Cup and all the vets had a great time. I booked another charter in early July because I was so impressed with their service, knowledge, dedication and their personalities that I booked another teip 6 weeks out as a Fater's Day gift for the old man. If you want to fish Northern Lake Michigan, this is the boat with the experience and personality to provide the great time you are looking for.

We went out with Captain Eric and First Mate Wayne for an afternoon salmon fishing charter. Because this was a family trip, it was very important to me that we have a "family friendly" crew on the boat - and Eric and Wayne were every bit of that. The fishing out of Frankfort had been quite poor and the water was much rougher than we had hoped for in that there were 3-5 foot waves. Eric was very up front with us about the poor fishing and the rough water, and gave us the option of cancelling the trip. We chose to go forward with it. Within about an hour of actual fishing time, we had three nice salmon in the boat, which was better than what other charters were doing. I've been on several Lake Michigan salmon charters, and I can tell you that these guys worked harder than many at making sure that we had the right baits in the right places to put fish in the boat. We did have a member of the family get seasick due to the large waves, and ended our charter early - before the "good" fishing even started. Eric and Wayne were very understanding and gracious about the charter needing to end early. Once back at the dock, they did a great job of cleaning the fish for us. This was a family friendly charter and we didn't have to sacrifice catching fish for having a pleasant crew! I highly recommend Gold Coast if you are taking a salmon charter out of Frankfort or the surrounding area.

Girls trip was a huge success. Eric and Wayne made this charter an incredible experience. We had our quota in less than two hours. Great instruction, fun stories and history of the region. We can't stop talking about it and our guys want to go next time!

I have been charter fishing with Capt. Eric Walline for over 35 years. Its a yearly trip for me and my family. If you want to catch fish, he is the person you want to contact. He knows what fish are running, and when, and where they are, so he always has the proper baits/lures in the water. My family has always caught as many fish as we know what to do with, and its a great bonding experience. I even have grandkids going now. And Capt. Eric's prices are the best competitive rates in the area. You can't go wrong when you charter with Eric, and he makes it fun for all ages.

The captain and mate were friendly and helpful. We hooked several fish we couldn't get in but they stayed in a good mood. Fish cleaning and bagging were included in the trip
