I have been here a few times to see the place and to see a couple of monthly seminars that they put on. Parking is no problem; they have a large lot behind it. The place is handicapped-accessible. This is a small museum dedicated to military items that were made in Michigan. They also have models of various items, such as tanks, that were built in Michigan. Going through the whole place may take about 2 hours. They also have an old civil defense siren that supposedly still works (but don't trigger it inside; too loud). It has a reference library. They also have monthly seminars on various military and Detroit-related subjects. There is a fee to get in, but it is worth it. It is usually open just on weekends; weekdays by appointment.…

We had never heard of the museum until we saw a display they had set up at a community event. My son (6 1/2) was striking up a conversation with the volunteer and wanted to check it out. We finally got the chance to check it out and it is a great little museum. While we were there I learned some fascinating things about items made right here in Michigan. The museum has a few other projects that they are working on, including an expansion, but it is definitely worth the visit if you're in the area or as part of a day trip to the area.…

A little place in EastPointe with a lot Military History ,WWI, WWII, and other things in history and some thing they used . Give place good credit what they have here ..
