So, my friend was scheduled to leave with the Michigan flyer bus stop at the Marriott location to the Detroit airport at 10:45 am, yet the bus driver decide to leave without any pre warning or announcement that it was time to go. This was very strange because he had just had two conversations with her, one to verify her as a passenger on his bus and to pick her luggage beneath and the other one about the QR code before having another conversation with another passenger next in line who also wasn’t able to get on since he never unannounced anything about departing at all. To make matters worse, a woman in management called Rachel was very unhelpful and disrespectful af to my friend who was in distress of what just happened and was just trying to make sure she could get into Detroit Airport in time for her flight. Rachel was gaslighting the crap out of my friend over missing hopping onto the bus when it wasn’t my friend’s fault cuz nothing was communicated to her to get on it immediately for departure as well as the other passenger that was left behind as well. She even had the guts to laugh out loud at her in this time of distress. Thankfully there were others in management near Rachel, who were supporting my friend and trying to help find ways to get her there in time for her flight. Rachel on the other hand, was very dismissive and even refused for one of the other drivers that volunteered to drive my friend there herself. Due to the other individuals in management who were helpful, my friend was able to get an uber to get to her location safely, but no thanks to the very unprofessional help of Rachel. The driver who did leave her, eventually met her at the airport and handed her her luggage respectively and admitted to his wrongdoing and apologized for his lack of making sure to check that every passenger was on board. Yet, this Rachel was very inconsiderate and very rude to my friend, so plz beware of her if you ever need to contact management and ask for someone else if possible please.

I have taken the Michigan Flyer many times over the years - mostly to the airport (DTW) but also from Ann Arbor to Lansing. It is always a comfortable, smooth and seamless experience. So much cheaper than taking a car service of any kind to DTW and honestly a more pleasant experience.

Excellent on time service between Ann Arbor and DTW. Ground staff at the airport and bus operators are pleasant and helpful. The coaches are all in great shape and extremely clean. Booking on-line is super easy and if needed telephone staff is very helpful. Complimentary bottled water on board is a nice touch. Well worth the price of the trip. The parent company is Indian Trails, a private company, who have been in business well over 100 years. Pretty good for a transportation company in 2016.

I've taken the Michigan Flyer to the Detroit Airport and back to East Lansing many times. The buses are comfortable, have wi-fi, and the drivers are courteous. They run so many buses each day, even if your flight is late, you can catch another bus and there is always a convenient time to catch the bus to the airport. Best thing is that it saves you that last (often miserable) leg to the Lansing or another small airport. The bus runs even in bad weather--unlike flights to small airports.

The bus driver left me and I waited for the bus an hour. I was outside, when he originally dropped off a group. HE didn't acknowledge me at all. Well at least he knows I'm here. NOT. I was under the assumption that the attendant(from pass experience)would let me know when the bus would arrive. I got cold and wet, so i went inside. Well as I walk out the bus driver, looks at me and takes off. He was just closing the door and still inside the yellow lines, designated area. I'm so pissed off and the rudeness. What happened to the attendant? I've been using this service for years and would like to continue but something should change with your new designated area. Possibly text the customer when bus will be arriving outside since there is no attendant.

Great way to travel to and from DTW. Drops you right off at the door. Cost ends up being much less than even offsight long term parking.

The Flyer is on-time, has comfortable seating, pleasant and safe Driver’s, and the WiFi works very well (most of the time). Price is competitive. Access to the on-line schedule is easy and the reservation system works well. East Lansing office staff are friendly and helpfull — in person and over the phone.

Their Airport drop-off and pick-up times are not always the most convenient for every flight, but a very nice option to driving yourself and paying parking fees.

The drop-off/pick-up location at the Detroit Airport is not best for departures and arrivals, but that site was not their choice. Also, they will stop closer to main entrance of McNammar terminal for anyone needing assistance because of a disability.

I use them 4 or 5 times a year.

Good value for the service: safe, on-time, comfy seats, wifi, pleasant & professional drivers, many trips from East Lansing to Detroit to choose from. We almost never fly out of Lansing anymore.
