MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

Fabulous Facilities

It was an honor to visit Michigan State. We toured the athletic facilities and it is easy to understand why they are a powerhouse!

Texas relatives came to visit and wanted to see Michigan's fall colors. We didn't have a lot of time, so we took them on a tour of the campus. It was absolutely spectacular. MSU has one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. The children's garden with the huge peacock in bloom is lovely. In the spring during lilac... More

The campus is big. Lots of space to walk around. Go there weekend, didn't have trouble find parking space. Overall, very nice campus. However, some dorms desperately need update....so old.

So much to see and do on this beautiful, spacious, green campus. The Broad Art Museum. The Beal Botanical Garden. The Memorial Chapel with fabulous stained glass. And the historical markers all over campus really make the place come alive.

One of the prettiest campuses in the country. A fun place to explore. Try a picnic on the river or rent bikes and ride around.

So much to do on this campus. If you are here for game day of any sort it is fun to just people watch. Walk around this beautiful campus. The flower gardens are spectacular. Walk along the Red Cedar River, visit the Alumni Chapel, Student Book Store, Sparty, and the Pines by Munn.

It was nice touring the campus. Our campus tour was very energetic which was needed when walking more than 3 miles of campus ground. Only recommendation if weather is hot...have bottles of water at various stops.
