MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

Very impressed with the entire campus and surroundings. A very organized and in-order university, well thought out. Easily accessible for students getting around. Great stadium, looking forward to attending football games!

This is my second time on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University for a CLEAR workshop for foreign language teachers and I am still very much in love because of all of the greenery, the river that runs through the campus, the Beaumont Tower, the older parts of campus, and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store, where the have... The campus is large and to view all the buldings will take 3 to 4 hours. Their auditorium is very good. I did not go inside all the buildings as even from the outside they are attractive. I went inside the auditorium and it was a bit old fashioned

Beautiful campus, with many walking paths to enjoy it to its fullest. Fabulous greenery, as befitting its horticultural roots. The (older) northern end is more traditional, and IMHO, the more interesting. Not to say the newer areas don't have worthiness. Treat yourself to some AMAZING MSU-made ice cream at the Dairy Store (located in SE side of Anthony Hall on... More

I came to Michigan State, because my wife had a meeting with some of the staff (she is a Dean at our local college.) I am from Texas, and never gave much thought to MSU. Well it was fantastic. As a nature lover, there is a nice river that runs through the campus. There is areas of forest, that have... More

If you are just visiting the area don't miss a drive around campus. It is a beautiful campus with a stream in the middle. You can bike it or walk. The museum is great with some interesting collections. The Broad Art Museum is a must see, an architectural masterpiece. The children garden is great for kids and the botanical gardens... More

The campus itself is beautiful! It is worth spending a morning or afternoon just wandering around. Old growth trees and shrubs, and the Red Cedar River meandering through campus, with hypnotic rapids and chirping wildlife can be a peaceful respite from a hectic day. Turn off your electronic devices and just relax by the river!

MSU campus is rated as one of the most beautiful campuses. Just walking the sidewalks and looking around you realize the beauty and enjoy the architecture. And don't miss the gardens.
