MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

What a beautiful campus. Small town feel with one of the largest stadiums I have ever seen. Old world buildings with a wooded campus.

The Carillon Tower allows for indoor audience (see posting on the door), the botanical garden is very close and worth a walk. The river trail is also beautiful. Watch the bikes though, they speed and generally do not use bike lanes, but the sidewalks.

Immaculately kept, even with plenty of snow on the ground, I was really impressed by MSU. It's a laid out differently to the likes of UM, but that isn't a bad thing- it's a little more spread out, in my view. The facilities are really...More
