I am a bit prejudice reviewing "The Children's Garden". My wife was the administrative assistant to the genius who conceived this magnificent space at Michigan State. I've been taking my grandchildren to "The Garden"for 15 years making memories. Both my children had wedding pictures taken there as have countless other couples. The garden is a wonderful learning experience for all... More

tucked away near the greenhouses on campus is the children's garden. Open during the day for families, children. Has imaginative layout of flowers, a bridge, a treehouse, a maze, digging area and seating arena for classes. Free, but parking is metered.

An adorable educational garden. Many little sights scattered throughout. The small hedge maze is always fun and be sure to check out their programming. So much fun happening here.

The gardens are beautifully done and so much fun. I would definitely come back here. My little getaway from the rest of the world.

Unless your kiddo likes plants/flowers, there's not a lot to do here. The maze is fine and the various gardens and things are nice. The price is right, but watch out for the parking cost!

In good weather it's not unusual to see wedding parties and engaged couples having photos taken in this garden, which is a testament to it's beauty. There is a large granite ball in the center of the garden which sits in a pool of water. It's fun to spin the ball and see how fast you can get it to... More

A must do for kids and adults alike. All visitors and locals should visit many times each year. Except for parking it is time well spent.

This is one of several amazing a gardens on MSU's campus. It's great from spring through fall. It's a common venue for family photos, children photos and even engagement photos. The MSU Dairy Store is a short walk away. Go green!

I love this garden. When you first walk in, to the left is a cute little tree that children use as an umbrella. Along the path there are different food plants and flowers. And on one path, there is a gazebo like structure that has spider web looking rails going up the ramp...It's difficult to describe. There's a little dinosaur... More

The Children's Garden is a perfect place for a non gardener like me. Signs make it possible to recognize and learn about plants at Michigan State University, where the information is trustworthy. I love the variety of species in such a small area.l the
