Grand Circus Park is an interesting place to visit. There are plenty of benches. It is located in a very busy location. It is a true circus as there is circular driving all around the park. The crossings to the other streets are short and well identified. Some of the cars enter the circus a little too fast. Either they aren't used to the small street motion or they are being careless. The park has been neglected for a long time. It is great to see it being put back into use.

It's a great place to stop for lunch. Whether you are having takeout or a brown bag lunch. The last time I stopped there they had some example patio furniture around. The pieces looked like something you'd have in your living room, so, I thought it a bit much but its a durn sight better than having the place empty. There is some underground parking there but I'm not sure how it works or if it is still in service.

The Opera House is nearby and some great apartment buildings. I am so glad they are being fixed up. Most of them are still empty as people move back around the park I expect to see more people there. Come on by when you're downtown. It's got a great fountain, a giant statue and an obelisk!

You can get here by getting off of the People Mover at Circus Park Station. It is a nice area to walk through with trees, benches and fountains. It is very near the baseball and football stadiums. It's a nice greenspace areas to enjoy if you happen to be in that area but I wouldn't make a special trip just to see it.

Small yet quaint Dog Park. If you are expecting a big huge park then this is not the one for you. It is free to get in(besides the price you pay to park on the street nearby) no registering required. There are only a few benches, artificial mulch grass and a couple water bowls for your furry friend. Most people that came were residents and/or employees to let their dog relieve theirselves. My Dog and I played around for an hour or so and it was relaxing to not be overcrowded with other people and/or dogs.

I went through here on the way to the baseball park. It was not super dirty but not clean either. And there were a lot on panhandlers which made me feel unsafe.

Great to relax and people-watch, or watch the crazy traffic lol. Has a dog park, seating, stairs to parking, monuments and fountains, and pretty landscaping.

Good location near Comerica Park, Fox Theatre and Detroit Opera House. Not far from Greektown. Access via new QLINE or the people mover. Green space with some seating under sun umbrellas. Peaceful and pleasant.

It's a park, but not really. More of a greenspace. It's bisected by Woodward Ave. Hipsters that think living downtown is cool can take their dogs to the enclosed dog run. The new QLine train has two stations here, one for both directions.

Beautiful in the spring when all the trees are in bloom. Still get some homeless kooks here and there, but mostly safe during the day.

This is a well-maintained park with a few statues to look at. There are also a few tables and chairs that you can sit at and some fountains to look at.
