He has a pretty long history owning great bars, and this bar is right up there! Nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, great staff, great food, tasty cold beer, and all within a 5 minute walk to Cobo and Joe Louis. You can pretty much smell the octopi! Need more proof? Ask the Travel Channel!

A large group of us went here for a Friday Lunch, we had made arrangements so they were expecting us..... Service was excellent, had a nice little tour of the place and heard all the history of the ghosts and the hidden tunnel they discovered while doing renovations.... Burgers were awesome and very reasonable.....

We arrived at the J.L arena early for an event and had this place recommended to us by a gentleman who worked at the arena. It is very easy to get to from the arena (maybe a 4-5 min walk). When we went it was PACKED! The service was still quick we were there for the beer :) We did... More
