We were there on a gorgeous Saturday and loved seeing everyone out walking, biking, etc. One fo my favorite things to do when visiting a city is to get out and walk. The Cut was the perfect place. We started at the Riverfront (parking at Cullen plaza, walking to harbor, and crossing Atwater) and walked about a mile along the cut, passing murals along the way. Many others were out enjoying the day - walkers, bikers, skateboarders. Lovely way to spend the afternoon and get exercise in too.

We've walked the Dequindre Cut numerous times a year since it opened. It's a great place to go when you want to get out of the house without driving too far or spending a lot of money...as well as a good way to get some exercise. Grab a loved one and walk and talk...from Eastern Market all the way down to the Riverwalk. Enjoy the art which changes over time as new works are commissioned to replace the older ones. Food trucks and Bea's Squeeze Lemonade and more are available on select days and times. Walk the Cut with out-of-town guests, providing an opportunity to visit and see some sights. The free parking, restaurants, murals, and more in Eastern Market don't hurt! And these days this is an especially great opportunity to get outdoors during these COVID times.

We had a great biking ride here. Super clean, beautiful and there are many graffitis to take pictures and little parks to excercise, we enjoyed our morning ride 🚴🏿‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️

Great for scooters, biking, or walking (with/without a dog). I would totally visit this walk again, I loved all of the beautiful graffiti artwork

More than ten years after opening, I decided it was time to check out the Dequindre Cut. It's a very nice place to go for a walk, with nice scenery, and separate lanes for pedestrians and bikes. I wish I had explored it sooner.
