Loved everything about the trip! The crew and Captain Mike were great! Perfect way to see the Detroit river area as well as Canada. Really nice experience for all ages. Also nice to enjoy a snack or cold drink onboard as you travel along the shoreline.

The tour was relaxing and informative, however, the narrator was too monotone and boring, more energy and louder would have been five stars. Senior tickets was $19pp, which isn't a bad price for a two-hour narrated tour. Good summer fun on a hot summer day.

I'm a charter bus driver and had a hard time finding a way to drop my senior citizens where they could load the boat at the Atwater dock. There is no driveway to the dock although the website says that there is. If driving a car, you can park in the National park lot next door, But when I pulled in, just to turn my bus around, two security guards stopped me and told me to get out! They were very rude and said I had to drop my passengers on the street and they would have to walk in. The boat was not even at the dock yet, so we didn't know if we were even in the right place. Once finally on the boat, it was a very nice, very informative trip up and down the river. Well worth the trials of loading and unloading the bus.I actually found a relativity close parking place for my bus on the street. If it wasn't for the difficulty of not having the correct info for loading and unloading bus passengers, I would have given a 5 star rating

We go on several tours each year, from the Wyandotte dock. I think the price is very reasonable for all that you get: both tours are several hours long, (and narrated), staff is fun, friendly and helpful, a small bar is available (with pop, beer, wine, chips), restrooms, and a variety of seating. Tip...if at boarding, you don't get the seat you would like, wait awhile and go back and check. People move around throughout the tour, giving everyone an opportunity for favorite spots. Ive sat in every section and was never disappointed. Heres a few more tips: get in line early if you absolutely must sit in a certain seat. Groupon has discounted tickets (read instructions carefully. Its worth it) Sunscreen...always a good idea, no food/drinks allowed, bags may be searched. Bring sunglasses, binoculars, a light jacket or go below if you get cold. Be respectful, relax, and be ready to do it again! I go often and still see/learn something new each time!
