A nice plaza on the river with various sculpture and monuments. Very nice along the river with a view of Canada on a nice day. There is a very nice walkway along the river that will be extended over the years.

It gets crowed at time and many homless people are there trying to panhandle money, also most of the time there is not enough security

I love what Detroit has done with it's waterfront over the past few years as it only gets better. Hart Plaza is one of the bright spots downtown.

It’s in the heart of the financial district and comprises a number of statues, fountain and concrete. But it’s a really cool place to visit. Don’t miss the Joe Louis memorial (a giant punching fist) or the Labour movement monument (it’s like a Stargate).

A few times a year I find myself in Detroit for work. I stay a few hundred feet from this park, and walk my around the financial district daily. This park seems like fun (lots of people & families during the day), and I love...More

This place, built in the '70s, desperately needs a renovation. Depressing and rundown, but it does have access to the river.

I stopped here while walking along the Riverfront. There wasn't much to see at the time. The fountain was turned off and the other structures looked in need of some repair. Mind you, I stopped by on a weekday afternoon and there weren't many people...More

Love coming down to the Riverfront now. Every year it gets longer as they fix up more of the pathway.

The fountain wasn't running on our June 2018 visit and there were fences everywhere with a lot of repair work going on, thus only 3 stars. There are still a few other statues to see as you move down to the riverwalk, but you could...More
