About
The Michigan Pedaler is Detroit’s own "Pub Crawl on Wheels" as up to 15 people take the party to the streets by visiting bars, landmarks and seeing the sights. Known as Detroit’s Party Bike, we cycle through Downtown, Midtown and Corktown. You bring your own food and drinks, and alcoholic beverages are allowed! You play DJ as we pump your music from your phone and playlists into our speaker system. Don’t think you have the energy for two hours of pedaling? Fear not! Our bikes, known as the "Cadillac of Party Bikes,” feature electric assist so you’ll never get too tired or too sweaty. We specialize in customer service as our drivers and staff work with you to plan the perfect outing to match your group’s needs and tastes. You can also book up to 6 bikes for up to 90 people! The Michigan Pedaler is perfect for bachelorette and bachelor parties, birthdays, corporate/work outings, neighborhood gatherings, family reunions and of course… just an excuse for a great thing to do in Detroit!

We had a blast. Our main girl Traci was awesome and guided us through the downtown area perfectly. She blasted our tunes and sang along with the playlist. Traci stopped at a couple of key landmarks in the city for great photo ops: Tiger Stadium & Spirit of Detroit on the river front. Highly recommend the Michigan Pedaler for both locals and out-of-towners. Additionally, we were an under 21 group but still had the best 'celebration' pedaler experience. Thank you MI Ped & Traci!!!!

Super fun the driver was dope. We got wild on the bike would love to do it again. We took a tour all thru downtown. The bike has Bluetooth so we were able to play our own music. Super super fun

It was a lot of fun to be able to go through the city and see all of the new developments and businesses, as well as the old and more familiar. We stopped various places and were asked what our interests were. I enjoyed it very much, even though I have lived downtown before. It was cold when we went but we still all had a great time! This was a really nice mental break and all of us were smiling. It was a great way to release some of the stress that the schools have been lately!

The Michigan peddle bikes are terribly managed and not in a safe working order! Our reservation for our friends birthday party was delayed an hour because a bike was broke down and we were notified on our way to our reservation. No big deal we can sit in this parking lot an extra hour and pre party. When our bike did finally arrive at 8:10 it was so loud that it sounded like it was ready to break down! The lights were also broken. Our driver Ashley texted the owner mike and he said to turn the music up. The music was up full blast and people in the back couldnt hear it due to the loud engine. We left the lot about 8:20, stopped at 1 bar and after that, 10 minutes into our ride we had a flat tire. 25 minutes later while we waited, we were told to get an Uber back to our cars and we would be refunded for the uber and the reservation. When our uber arrived, Ashley our pedal driver Said that there was actually one bike available that could take us to finish our party and that we would be refunded our money for the inconveniences. Ashley said we couldnt go to any of the locations we wanted for our group pics due to the jazz festival and we were really limited. We took one group photo at comerica park. We were on a working and moving bike for less then 1 hour total! we returned to the lot before 10pm and thats when Ashley said that we would receive half of a refund if she brought us back now. If we would’ve continued for another 30 min there would be no refund. Is this company serious? This was the worst experience on a pedal bike we have ever had due to poor ownership, management and maintenance of the pedal bikes. The driver felt bad and was embarrassed that she had to tell us this information. There are plenty of other pedal bike companies downtown and I would recommend you use anyone other than the Michigan pedlar. Mike seems like a terrible owner who only cares about his money and not the reputation of his business. Apparently he's a city councilman somewhere. I certainly hope he cares about his day job more then he does about his side hustle.

The ride and experience itself is fun and great to see DT Detroit with your friends and fam BUT we were not warned that they stop at 11pm. We booked the 9:30pm slot for TWO hours and essentially were robbed of half an hour… Other than that, Ashley, our driver was awesome! Do recommend but also suggest you make sure you don’t get robbed of any time as it is not cheap as a whole.

This was our first time taking the pedaler and we would do in again in a heartbeat. Our driver, Daniel, made it such an enjoyable experience. Seeing downtown Detroit on the Pedaler is a great way to experience this wonderful city. Thanks Daniel!!!

This was our second time rolling with the Michigan Pedaler and once again it was totally awesome. From the booking process to the actual ride, the best experience once again. Brian was our driver and he was phenomenal! He knew just where to take us and his interaction was amazing! This was an EPIC event for us in Downtown Detroit! #catchmeifyoucanintheD I look forward to our next ride, we have mad this an annual event.

We had a wonderful experience on the Michigan Pedaler. Our driver, Darian, was wonderful. We had fun, she had great advice on where to go and how to maximize our trip, and it was a fantastic way to see the city I've grown up in through a very different lens! Whether you're coming to the city or from the area, this was a fantastic time!

A group of 10 of us from work went to have some fun on a Friday night. We had a wonderful time and chose the downtown tour. We all felt we got to see a lot of the city's highlights and will definitely do this another time in the future. Our driver, Marvin, was a terrific tour guide.

Traci was a awesome host/driver!! Highly recommend her we laughed & danced the entire time. The only thing I would change is the bar stop offerings. There were 2 stops, each for about 20mins at predetermined bars. Time becomes a issue if the bar is at capacity or is short staffed.

HI Is there free Parking at McShanes?
Yes. Free parking at McShanes in their lot at the SW corner of Michigan and Trumbull. If it is an event day in Detroit, an attendant will charge you $10 cash and give you a $10 Gift Certificate to use at McShanes. If there is no attendant that day, parking is free.
