I've attended Piston and Red Wing events here and have been impressed with the ease of access, security, event staff etc. Everyone has been helpful and happy. The pregame and half time entertainment at the Pistons game has been excellent. I have only done the Gondola seating and highly recommend it if you are not scared of heights. Just make sure you sit in row 1 of not row 2. Row 1 is right on the glass to view down. Row 2 are high top seats which are more comfortable but if someone is in row 1 in front of you you will have an obstructed view. Food and beverage choices are vast but expensive. Bathrooms are abundant and clean. I suggest pre-booking parking to save because it can get pricey the closer you park to the LCA. Free Xfinity WiFi (just enter a bogus email). I have and will return.

The arena is spacious and bright. Seats are tight in the upper bowl. If you are wearing a winter coat, really tight. Be aware of the cup holders at your feet. Mezzanine seats are the recipients of very cold A/C during hockey games.
Food and drinks are very expensive. They might consider reducing the size of their offerings and reduce the prices. Some of the sandwiches can feed 3 people they’re that big. For $13. $5 for a bottle of water. $15 for a pizza.
LCA workers are the best. Very helpful and courteous. Tbe guys and gals in the upper bowl are underpaid. They are that good.

Have been here for two basketball games, and one concert, and have sat in the upper bowl, and lower bowl. The concourses are great. Lots of shops and restaurants. The outer concourses are set up like a street, with Pistons and Red Wings memorabilia. Lots of stuff to eat too, including a very large food court with great variety. I have sat in club seats (I wish I could remember the section). There is a lounge dedicated to this section with its own private concessions and restrooms. VERY nice.
Now, the bad. This place is vertigo, air-sickness inducing steep. Like CRAZY steep. Never seen an arena nearly this steep. Sat in the very last row for a basketball game. and WHOA!!! Vertigo!!!. In most arenas the row in front of you is probably about 2 feet or so above the floor of your row. So it gives you a kind of sense of security. At LCA the row in front of you is below your feet. So the effect is like you are suspended in the air. Also, good luck if you stumble coming through the row. There is nothing to catch yourself on. It is actually dangerous. I have to imagine people are going down regularly (especially those Wings fans who enjoy their fermented beverages). Ladies; don't wear heels.

Despite the nice facility and the great company that I had, the communication with several employees ruined the night for us. I am about the easiest going and most understanding person you would meet and that is why I am so disappointed. The first thing that I did when I got in to the arena was look for a bar to get a drink. I asked specifically for a vodka redbull. The woman at the bar proceeded to pour me a vodka cranberry and was rude about the fact that that’s not what I ordered. She rudely pushed me on as she did not have Red Bull at the bar which she could have said from the start. No one helped us to find our seat. We noticed a bar that was above us and wanted to check it out. When we were up there, rather than kindly informing us that the bar stool seats up there were “season tickets” we sat down and rudely were kicked out. The bouncer at the kid rock restaurant was less than courteous and the very final straw was when a friend of mine was quickly running up a set of stairs and at the top met by a security guard who told her that she needed to leave. I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review as I am now because of how disappointed I am. I will certainly never go back for another sporting event at LCA nor will I recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues. I wish I could give you names of the employees but I am afraid that it is not a reflection of the individual employees but of the overall management of the venue.

Little Ceasars Arena gets great marks on all of the boxes except the one that counts. The shopping, restaurants, restrooms and general facilities are really nice. But the amenity that really counts absolutely sucks, and that is the seating. I was in the mezzanine section across from the stage. I have never been in such a cramped tiny seating area. Having a coat makes it even worse. The seat is narrow and there is no foot room whatsoever. I’m not sure if the seating in the lower bowl is any better but this was so bad that I probably won’t attend a concert or sporting event here ever again. The seats were worse than Spirit Airlines. The horrible seating cannot be an oversight. I really think that they built this place knowing that for most people, it would be a “one and done” situation so why bother making a concert or game comfortable when they can cram in more people and make money selling them the overpriced refreshments in the nice corridors.

Impressive entry and plenty of restaurants to eat before or during the game
100 seats Cozy but comfortable seating in the lower bowl. No obstruction of view for the ice & game. Beverage sales and bathrooms very conveniently placed.
200 seats- I will not sit there even if they pay me for a Stanley Cup game or to see the Rolling Stones in concert. Exceptionally steep pitch gives the feeling of falling forward. Exceptionally narrow room along seat aisle. ANY misstep and you are tumbling as there is no room for error. We paid for the upgrade to the lower bowl. The usher told me it happens a lot and even more for concerts.
The hockey game was filled with excitement and plenty of opportunity to jump to your feet. You cannot do that in the 200 seats.
Absolutely not for children unless you have a harness for them. Strongly recommend no drinking or eating.
Absolutely not for anyone who is light headed from a cold, medication or having dizzy spells.
Absolutely not not for anyone with fear of heights.
Very hard to believe it passes safety regulations.

The arena is clean, and modern. The bathrooms were clean and constantly maintained. Upper seating is very very steep. I honestly started to have a lot of anxiety after climbing all the way to the top to sit. When the lights are on, it is so steep one it feels like one wrong move and you will be falling to your death. When the lights go down, its easier to forget you are on the brink of death or at least the brink of breaking a bone or two as you tumble down. Avoid level 3 if you can. Parking for our event was $50. Surrounding lots were $20, and on there was free parking on the street as it was a Sunday.

For music concerts, If the only seats available to you are the upper level seats, save your money. This area has no speakers. You literally cannot make out what they are saying or singing. The bass is also exaggerated to ridiculous levels. Couldn't be more disappointed. They shouldn't be allowed to sell seats with this type of sound quality. If these are the only seats available to you, stay home and watch your favorite artist on YouTube. You'll enjoy it more and nobody will rip you off to do so!

Being from a different city and our first time at a hockey game out of town, we were nervous not knowing what type of people they would be towards the visiting team. But Detroit REALLY has some very nice people. The arena was well marked and had lots of restrooms and food vendors to choose from. Also they had some amazing special effects on the ceiling that we loved!!!

I use a cane. Last night, I was out of breath event before finding our how many stairs I'd need to take to my seat.
1. There was an elevator nearby.
2. Michelle, working the elevator, made sure I had a wheelchair for the rest of the night.
3. Joan made sure I had the right access for the least amount of stairs.
4. Bill, in charge of wheeling me around, was as attentive as I could hope for. Everyone was pleasant, making my experience amazing.
Thank you!

Traveling for a concert from Cleveland. What garage is the safest and has the best access back to I75S without having a lot of redirection from police redirecting traffic? I was between the little ceasers arena garage or the UWM garage? Also wondering which one exits the quickest after large events like a concert? Never been to Detroit and want to drive home that night. Not trying to get lost trying to go back to the freeway lol. Thank you

How do General Admission seats work at LCA? where can you wait and how early do need to be there?

Floor seats for concerts - do you need a wristband to get down? If so, where do you get it? Do they sell drinks on the floor? If so, did they sell (On the floor) a hard seltzer in a can (Whiteclaw, Henry’s, etc)? Or a hard cider in a can (Angry Or hard, Blake’s, etc)? Lastly, closest bathroom access from floor seats?

Sorry. No idea as I went for a hockey game. Lots and lots of stairs down to Row 7. Nothing close.

My daughter and her friend, 18 years old.... are planning on driving 7 hours to see a show there. Is this a safe area? Nervous mom.
Written February 8, 2020
yes, but with any big city use your head and be aware of your surrounding. If they park at the official parking structure there is a bridge that connects to the arena. Most everything is done on cell phones, under the district, even parking.
