We stayed one night so we could attend the Stephen Marley concert next door. The entrance, docks & facilities were fine. There is no shade, so bring some kind of misting hose to keep cool. The marina has a push button combo lock & is well secured. Upon arrival, we radioed in & there was no response, No one to help tie up our boat. One of the seasonal boaters there lent a hand.

This was a really beautiful part of Detroit. I was in town on business and had a bit of worry that Detroit was not going to be a place worth much. Sorry D, it's the propaganda. But, walking along the waterfront was so beautiful and peaceful. Nothing worrisome or unsafe. There were abandoned lots full of wildflowers that I thought was just about as charming as a city in recovery can be. I sat and watched the boats and the hipsters and gangsters on bikes. It made me really love Detroit. There are also some nice restaurants in the area.

Small State Park that is cozy and on the waterfront. The company picnic was held there twice. Nice place for it. The weather seem to be just right each time. Never too hot.

A nice place to have a picnic for two. I have always found it to be quiet, not a lot of people and clean. However, I have only visited through the weekday mornings.

The park has Milliken State Park Lighthouse which is nice to see, and there is a path you can take to walk up to it. The park, also, has a beautiful view of the Detroit River.

It is a beautiful place to visit in Detroit. You will love the walk on the riverfront. You can find different old structures. GM building view on the other side is good.

Was at the "DNR Outdoor Adventures" right across the street from this park. It looked so pretty. My husband, son and I went for a walk. We come across the DNR and they were giving free fishing lessons and they also had fishing poles for you to fish right there. The park was filled with families , eating, walking and riding bikes just enjoying the weather..
