Hlane Royal National Park has been a blast from start to end! The accommodation at the Ndvolu camp is beautiful. The lack of electricity creates a disconnection from the outside world that I found very relaxing. The rondavels are beautifully decorated and close to the...More

Decided to come to define m Swazilandia due to nights in to different places, namely Hlane and Mlilwane just outside of manzini. At Hlane started in the rondavels, and.... my... Great experience with no electricity. Very clean and tidy.

There were some exciting animals to see in this “Park”, although it took more work and time than at the other reserve we visited....the roads were a bit worse to travel within this park than the other and it was a good while, a couple...More

We were very disapointed with this park, as there was only one gravel road that we could drive on with a normal car. If people have a 4 WD that would make it easier. Only a small part is self drive, the remaining part is...More

I took a 1 day tour from Maputo to this park (more on the tour company later). I was the only person on the game tour in the morning to see the rhinos. Sitting up front in the large touring jeep was great for seeing...More

We enjoyed our stay overall, but won't be likely to go back again. The park is divided into 3 sections, 2 of the sections are self drive (no predators in these sections), the predators (lions, cheetahs, leopards) are in a third section that can only...More
