Nice beach and large lake.Electric camp sites are closer to highway and it's noise. Other sites further in the park and good for some trailers and many tent sites, and it's quieter too. Good park for a weekend getaway. 6/10 rating.

A nice small park, small lake (but warm compared to lake Ontario) , quiet if you exclude the highway or site is away from the highway like some other reviewers say, it seems family oriented, which I agree. People bash this park based on the...More

Site 113 was the best site in the park. Waterfront access not just view. Can put canoe in right on site. Dead end road so quiet. Would not recommend this park for trailers,,,those sites very open with no privacy

On Highway 7, in between Peterborough and Ottawa, we stopped here for a short time to rest and take in the nice view.

We were there for 2 nights and the overall experience was average. Washrooms were always clean which is a Big Bonus and the staff is friendly. Limited trails, limited privacy- having camp sites literally next to each other. There were no cockroaches at our campsites.

This was a beautiful park. There is a very short nature walk trail, 2 swimming areas, boating, canoeing, fishing. The sites are well spaced apart that give you some privacy. Washrooms and showers are kept clean but it's difficult for staff as there is only...More
