Whilst staying in Rosthwaite we did an awful lot of walking & sightseeing. Our only issue was that a week is just NOT long enough. We will be back again soon hopefully.

We came to visit while the ladder isn’t there so didn’t stay too long but it’s nice to see it without and in its natural glory! Not too far to walk from the NT car park either so perfect for families!

I wouldn't go out of your way to visit. It may be slightly underwhelming, but if you are passing then by all means come visit. A stone with a ladder, that's about the size of it. There are of course many more impressive outings and...More

It was a nice little walk up to this stone in the mist but the phenomena itself was somewhat underwhelming.

Big stone with a ladder and no tea room or ice cream parlour at the top, never knew it was there and now I do.
