About
Manganese Falls is fed by Lake Manganese, a pristine little lake worth visiting too. The falls are at the mercy of the seasons. The falls run rampant in spring with all the snowmelt (270" average) and rainfall. Then as the season progresses, they...more

I think they take the signage off for hunting season to save them. We did find it, found the post without the sign, very nice, narrow canyon as others have mentioned but very pretty, no real parking, just park off the side of the road......More

Look, this is Michigan, not Yosemite. The river is small, the canyon narrow, the water swift. If you in the area, stop, take a walk, enjoy the woods and rushing water.

Very close to the road and there is a look out platform but you can take a trail about 100' to get to better vantage point.

Many waterfalls tend to dry up in the late summer but a wet summer this year and a fresh rainfall made for a good waterfall experience. This is close to Copper Harbor on the way to Estivant Pines so its very easy to access. Mobility...More

This whole area is just beautiful! Whether it be the Waterfalls in the Keewanaw or the top of Brockway Mountain, looking out over Lake Superior! I cannot say enough! Beautiful and Peaceful!

The trail to the falls is short, but the view of the falls is obscured by a tree. Maybe there is a better view in the fall or winter.

Easy to get to....really cool falls. Small by some standards but very pretty area. Quick stop to see these.

These Falls were gorgeous and just off the road. You have to be able to navigate down about 10ft, but it’s not overly steep. My young kids did fine without any issues. But for those unsteady on their feet I wouldn’t recommend it.

There are lots of falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. These don't rate in the top 50%. I would skip them if time is short.
