My 9 year old most enjoyed the interactive parts of the trail, including the laser volley table, and the bubble station. We didn’t really engage much with the videos so didn’t follow the ‘quest’ very well, but it was still fun for the younger ones in our group. We went on “back to school night” so they got their face painted with the glow paint and loved that, too.

The teens in our group thought it was kind of boring and was geared more towards the younger kids. They most enjoyed the string lights hanging down over the dance floor at the beginning of the trail and took selfies with the cool lighting whenever they could.

In future incarnations, I would suggest maybe a place to just sit and be surrounded by/immersed in some of the cool/trippy lighting we saw in the woods. Perhaps it could be place for teens to pause and wait for the rest of the group, or for all to sit and enjoy snacks/beverages mid-trail.

We will definitely check out future themes. The teens are eager to go to the Halloween themed trail.

My husband and I did this trail alone and enjoyed a variety of cool light displays and relaxing music along with the beautiful weather. This is definitely a family friendly experience but also for anyone. The trail is flat and wide, so it’s stroller and wheelchair accessible (though not paved so it might be a little tough if you don’t have a motorized wheelchair). There are alcohol trucks at the entrance and half way through. There are several porta potties along the walking trail. Tickets were $25/person, and the trail is about an hour long slowly paced walk. An overall fun unique experience that I would enjoy going back to do again.

My 2 year old son loved it. The sensory play was through the roof! I highly recommend it for a well rested toddler that doesn't mind staying up after his bedtime. My son is a hiker but I would recommend an off road stroller/wagon for little ones that just like to take it in and enjoy the scenery. NO bugs for July. I'm guessing they spray?

Cousins from two different counties in Michigan met up in a third and had a good time. My Daughter-in-law, my niece, and myself took 3 cousins through the trails and I would say they all (12 and under) enjoyed the experience.
The staff are welcoming and the lights are worth the drive.

We drove from the west side of Michigan to go here. It was worth the drive. This is such an experience. I wish there were something like this on the west side of the state. I took my daughter and granddaughter and we all had fun. The interactive lights that control the music are so neat. The hanging balls that you walk through and the xylophone were my favorites.

Beautiful exhibit of lights with well-appointed musical accompaniment. Now for the negatives: the stories at the beginning were broadcast against garage doors or something and were incredibly light and also moving too fast. The holograms "talking" in the forest were hard to catch also. Luckily for us, we didn't care about a story and just went for the hike with cool lights. Lastly, a little bit of light in the parking lot would go a long way--we had a very hard time finding our vehicle when we exited.

This was a great experience. It was beautiful, fun and somewhat interactive. The displays were magnificent. The walk in the woods was pleasant. It took us about 75 minutes to stroll through the "enchanted forest".

One could walk slowly and keep distance for others during these COVID/Delta times. It is a great outdoor activity for children and adults.

I like this because of neat set they have in forest. The lights take you thought a story that you walk thought. That why it's good thing to do

The winter Aurora theme was awesome! My 8 and 4 year olds had a lot of fun looking at all the lights and interacting with things along the trail. I appreciated the opportunity to buy a spiked cocoa 😊 We would definitely return for another themed trail!

We took our kids and their grandparents, and the interactive features had all of us 7-70 years old laughing and having a great time. Great activity for kids, adults or both!
