Fun date

This was so much fun, definitely a different thing to do! Go as a couple or go in a group. The food was pretty good too but the whole evening was fun.

I am very picky when it comes to this type of entertainment because my husband and I are well traveled and I am not easily impressed like most people. We had heard good things about the Blissfield dinner train from friends of ours. Charlotte was only 1.5 hours away from our house instead of 2.5 so that is why we... More

Go and be ready to participate and enjoy. I thought dinner and a little entertainment would be good enough, but then you find yourself as a character in the middle of this twisting plot. Just dive right into it. Be as goofy, or as serious as you want. Just play the role and watch how much fun it becomes. You... More

Firstlty we were place in a makeshift rail car that was converted from a lounge to a "dining car"... old decor, very cramped, poor condition, trains generator went out 4 times. ...completely in the dark. Then the food was certainly not "5 star" quality... maybe 2 star at best. My salmon was luke warm lots of fat and had a... More

We got seated in the overflow (the lounge cart). 4 tables in our cart. The other cart was full with tons of people and they sounded like they had a lot of fun. We had 2 actors that played a roll in our cart and the main cart (main cart had more actors). We felt shafted and ripped off. $170... More

We had a blast, food was really good. It is a older train people forget that, it does have low flow toilet, which before you would have been going in a hole since it was older style. I think it adds to the charm being a older train. The view was country side, you are going to have some buildings... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The nostalgia of the dining car, the great service, the Perfect prime rib, the cast and their hilarious performance......and the other patrons....A wonderful evening in every way! We'll be back, and we'll be bringing our friends!

The first hour was fun. But the generator blew and we had to travel 100 ft from the station to plug into the hospital. There was barely AC. Then we never moved, so much for a train ride. The entree was the only good portion. Drink service was slow. During dinner I died of thirst, not even water. To much... More

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on the Old Road Dinner Train at Charlotte. We had a GREAT time. The food was good. Service was excellent. And the murder mystery was hilarious. I had prime rib, and it was as good as I have ever had. The crème brule dessert was a very welcome finish! We are... More
