I love Lake Michigan Beach in Charleviox. You can always find a good spot. The water is clean and fresh. And its easy to get to and to find parking (usually). Great beach for kids too.

Close walk from downtown. Not crowded even on a warm sunny Saturday. Pavilion with picnic tables provides shade and a wonderful breeze. Also shaded parking area thanks to the surrounding trees on the hill. Recommend beach shoes for the water a little rocky Water is...More

Michigan Beach has it all. There's an iconic lighthouse, boat traffic of all kinds, plentiful rocks for collecting including the unique Petoskey stone, Sandy Beach, clean restrooms and a concessions stand that is a cut above the typical concessions food. The only thing lacking is...More

Great place to swim in clean, clear water. Snack bar and restrooms. Pier to walk out on and pretty good spot to find Petoskey stones. Playground for young kids. Very close to downtown Charlevoix.

If you are in the Charlevoix area you must stop to view the beach here. Drive up Park street and see the Mushroom houses.

Crystal clear water and a nice sandy beach. Suggest you wear water shoes as a little rocky down by the water. Lots of boats and ships to look at while relaxing on the beach or floating on the water...

Even on a cool, cloudy Northern Michigan day, this is a great park. There are swings & a slide for the kids, restrooms & a wide sand beach to enjoy. The beach park is right next to the channel from Lake Charlevoix into Lake Michigan,...More

This is a lovely park, and a great place to get some sand in your shoes. You’re better off spending most of your time in the nearby downtown area shopping. But this is a nice place to eat away from the hustle & bustle. Good...More

A peaceful walk, nothing more. When the sky is clear and there isn't a strong wind the view is pleasant and the walk is nice.
