We had a blast here, it was July during Covid and it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves. We got to see and pet the pigs, the donkeys, goats, etc. Our favorite was feeding the baby bears, the elk and deer. The nice thing was that they accept debit/credit with a $5 min order so we could buy the food to feed the animals. It was hot, super hot but we had a great time. The staff was friendly however, we had to wait almost 10 minutes to be waited on at the ticket booth since the employees were also selling the ice cream.

We went here for the Christmas Experience and it was a great time! So much better than your traditional mall santa experience. Plus you get to see and feed the animals, hang out with the grinch and there are many photo opportunities during the tour. We will be back!

I can't say enough great things about our experience here. We spent the entire day here, and I would love to go back again. We did the all -experience ticket that included the baby bottle feedings and the safari. We fed baby goats and deer. Getting to pet and feed baby deer was amazing. They are such sweet, delicate animals. We got to pet Elk that were as gentle and kind as your favorite pet dog. The baby goats and pigs were roaming around and free to pet. I sat down with a tiny baby pig and rubbed his belly until he fell fast asleep. There are lots of climbing structures for kids. These are unique and unlike any structure we have encountered in the past. They go up high and down underground. The safari in the evening is led by the owner and his son. You get up close with moose, deer and other large animals. Spend the 24 dollars and person and really enjoy yourself here.

We have visited deer tracks multiple times and had always enjoyed it. This time was different. The couple that had run things in the past were no longer present. A younger staff seemed to be in charge. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. Cindy Lou kept saying “this is why I don’t work inside”, “this is why we don’t put me in charge of the cash register”. She struggled to take our order for hot chocolate. Had to ask for help 3 times. We had looked so forward to the informational part of the Grinch’s narration, in fact we boasted to our friends how much they would learn during the tour. The new grinch was very monotone and said “here are the bucks”, “here are the doe”. Completely lacking any of the education we had learned in past visits and hoped to let friends enjoy as well. This had been a wonderfully run family business full of heart and it really showed, this visit had a much more impersonal, unorganized, and unwelcome feel. We felt everyone was going through the minimum motions and some not even a minimum. We really have loved this tradition but things have changed. As the attraction has grown each year with new additions each time, sometimes bigger isn’t better if you can’t maintain the level of service and smiling faces, it is not for the best. All the decorations were amazing and the grounds well kept. It just lacked the heart and soul that flowed in the past and made it really special.

Thank you for your review. We do take all feedback seriously. We are very sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit. I know that this won't help, but the original owners are still in charge. Unfortunately, I know the exact day that you were here and it was chaotic. Everyone was doing their best to try and make the day great for visitors, but that day, the owner (the usual Grinch for the tours) was having emergency surgery. It was a very stressful time for all as this is a family run business. Again, I know this doesn't excuse or change the fact that you did not enjoy your visit, and we are sorry for that as we always want all of our visitors to have fun. I hope that it helps to understand the situation and that you will give us another chance someday. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

Very interesting place to visit. Especially during the rut like we did. The bucks are strutting around and necks are huge as well as their racks. Homemade brand ice cream after the tour is just an added bonus.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but what a terrific visit! There is a charge, but what a great time we had. Mostly farm animals, but also deer, buffalo, and camels. You can buy feed and you should do it. Baby sheep and piglets running around loose so you can pet them. Also play areas, and ice cream. What more can you ask for?

My husband and two sons, 8 & 10, went there between football games on a Saturday afternoon. We got the combo hands on package for $8/person. We got to go on both sides of the place and pet all the goats, pigs, yaks, deer and bunnies. It was nice because some of the animals were just running free, like the baby goats and baby yaks. There were not workers hovering over you every minute, so you could just sit and pet and enjoy the animals. They had a great big play area in a tall barn, and some cool underground tunnels the kids loved. They have an ice cream shop, but we did not try that. Over all a great place!

Loved Deer tracks Junction and the experience my three year old granddaughter had. Be sure to pay the extra fee to bottle feed baby animals. Sure it's only about a one minute experience but it was worth it. It's not a LARGE place by any means but I would have never guessed that we were there for almost 3 hours.

We have been coming here since they opened, and every year it gets better! This year,my children got to feed fawns with a bottle. There is a huge play structure with underground tunnels, the goats are allowed to roam around in some of the play areas also. It is very clean, well kept, and educational. The ice cream is great too!

If you're an animal lover and wish to get up close and personal with a variety of critters this is the place for you. We purchased the do it all pass and it was worth it. Be sure to purchase tickets online so you can schedule a bottle feeding as they sell out. I can't recommend this place enough, where else can you bottle feed a week old fawn and a goat kid?
We didn't try the ice cream this time but it looked good and prices were reasonable.
We'll be back!
