Very nice, clean and quiet park. Although there were quite a few young kids running about, it was still very quiet. Park bathrooms were outstanding and clean, we never had to wait for a shower because there was always one or more open. There is also a beach on the Saginaw bay although it is acrossed the road, via a... More

This place was great! The public beach and public bathrooms were clean and nice. The camp ground was beautiful and campground bathrooms well kept. The east side of the camp ground had more mature trees than the west side. Lots of trails for kids to ride their bikes. Staff was great. We can't wait to go back!

One of the oldest and best of Michigan's parks. Camping is great. The beach and facilities on Lake Huron are beautiful.

Good location. Sites vary in size so make sure to check while registering. Fall camping here is great. Beach is a short walk or bike ride across a busy road, but there is a tall metal bridge to get across. Decent trails as well.

Best sandy beach/swimming area on Michigan's Lake Huron shore. Day use area has restrooms/changing rooms, and shady area for picnics. Beach is sweet and sandy, sandy-bottom swimming area, clean water. Beautiful sunsets over the water. Campground is across the road (M-25), with day area/beach accessible via skywalk from campground. Usually not crowded in Spring and early Fall Large mostly-shady campsites,... More

The campground is clean, the bathrooms/bathhouse in the north campground are newer than the south campground. We got for the cheeseburger festival every August, fun times, 4 miles away. The beautiful beach and day use area is across M-25, with a pedestrian bridge. The park staff are friendly and helpful. There is a party store that serves ice cream outside... More

Stopped in while on a leisure drive around the Thumb coastline - a windy cool day. Walked a short distance to the beach overlook - a great view. A very pretty park - lightly populated on a weekend after Labor Day.

We stayed one night at the County Park and left because of the very small campsites. This park has much larger campsites and is more relaxed and quiet. Very nice place to camp.
