The Artisan's bench is a remarkable business offering a unique collection of regional craftwork. It is easy to be impressed by their collection of Motawi teleworks, woodblock prints, and pottery. All of the work is of the highest quality, unique and to my surprise, quite affordable. Give yourself time to browse. There are two treasure filled floors of paintings, carpets, woodcuts, ceramics and other works of art to enjoy and take home.

Artisan's Bench has been a wonderful addition to Brighton! With an inventory that changes and rotates frequently, it's always a treat to walk in and browse around. There are definitely some truly unique gifts here...but wonderfully so, and this is our "go to" place when we want something unique, nice, and fun, but not sure what. We've hit a lot of home runs here. The staff here has also been very wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and willing to place special orders.

We like the vibe of this wonderful store. The art is a combination of pieces for display and objects for use. It is my go-to store for gifts, especially for those who live out of state. The woodcraft, metalcraft, pottery and jewelry collections are my favorite.

The staff is so fun and helpful. I love browsing the industrial items as well as the uniquely Michigan items. If you are looking for one of a kind items for your home or as a gift, this is the place to see!

My experience has only been shopping online/over the phone but it has been a fabulous experience. Brittany spent time with me and made great suggestions for items I may like.

This place has beautiful art, artists work, jewelry, paintings and just about anything artsy you could imagine. The pieces change frequently, and it is always a fun experience.

Incredible shop. The owners have assembled an incredible array of oriental to contemporary rugs. Then they assembled a delightful array of art by local and national artists.
