We visited Warren Dunes State Park when we were staying in Michigan City, IN. Popular place! Great fun climbing the dunes and a nice beach as well. The water was very cold but the waves were crashing in which made it seem like we were...More

Our family has kids from 8 - 15 and we all loved the dunes. It's not easy, that's for sure but the effort to get to the top was totally worth it!

We arrived soon after they opened and parked right by the beach. Clear water, a bit cool for folks from southern Ohio but once we got in it was fine. It was fun swimming out to the sand bar by the buoys. Dunes are spectacular.

In comparison to Indiana Dunes, this beach and the dunes are far less crowded. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. They have built new restroom facilities, which were very nice and clean. The parking lot is very close to the beach, which is great....More

I like to swim and play in Lake Michigan but the sand on the beach needs cleaned occasionally. We noticed a lot of cigarette butts and paper wrappers that need to be picked up.

We went to the beach and went camping. The campground was clean and family friendly. Our electric site was a bit small for two vehicles. It was also a bit of a hike from the restrooms and showers. They were clean despite all the dirt...More

They have bathroom stalls, but it is a very nice bathroom area. I was able to change in the bathroom--it was very clean.

There are pebbles that wash up on shore but this isn't a rock-hunter's paradise. It's a beautiful beach & dunes to climb & sunsets to see. If you want rocks go father north to Petosky or the Apostle Islands.
