This was my second visit here. Both occasions were at the end of September on a Monday. As a result, there were only a few other cars in the main parking lot and we weren't worried about leaving our expensive bikes hanging on the car. The facilities do need an upgrade, but it looked like construction was underway. I imagine... More

We like hiking and greatly enjoyed Warren Dunes. I'll caution that you need to adjust your expectations of distance here. We thought a 3 mile hike was a bit short until we got into it. Much of the trail is on sand and this certainly is more taxing than solid ground. Then combine this will some serious ups and downs... More

we visited last week..we loved it...the beach was beautiful and big..most of the people and fun stuff was gone for the year but we had fun climbing and playing on the dunes for hours..we were the only ones there and it was a perfect day of beach hopping and dune climbing..my favorite spot...the biting flies tried to ruin our good... Warren Dunes has a dog friendly stretch of beach which we visit every year with the pups. It does costs $9 to enter the park, which is okay if it helps conservation. Our activities with the dogs are restricted to one area, but there is a long stretch of beach for other visitors, as well as pleasant walks up the... More

Out of state, been driving for 7 hrs. Expected campsites to be on or close to the water. Water was 2 miles away and as we had an early start the next morning, we missed it all. Expensive-we paid $40.00 for basic camping with loud highway noises .

We went on Labor Day which was crowded. The beach is so long you did not feel overcrowded which was nice. The water was very cold but seemed clean. It was pretty calm as well. The bathrooms are ridiculous for this size beach. They are old, outdated, run down and there is nowhere to change! Tight stalls, which get dirty... More

If you like sand, you will love this area. There is a large beach area to be around the water and there are very tall mountains of sand for those who want to hike.

Warren dunes was amazing. The dunes are huge but so much fun to climb and play on. The beach is very large with lots of room to spread out. We went over Labor Day weekend. It was crowded but there was still room to play. The beach was pretty clean.

Every year my family loves to spend a weekend and go camp at the Warren Dunes State Park. This is the one trip we all look forward to going to. It is breath taking in its views and definitely is a very relaxing getaway! My kids love going to the beach especially. It is not too bad as far as... More

Refreshing water to swim in, mountains of sand, clay pits, and a huge beach to relax in the sun. This destination has it all. If you are visiting from out of state it costs $9.00 for a day pass, but it is worth it. It wasn't very crowded on a weekday, so I would recommend going then. There are trails... More
