If you like a loud and crowded campground, this is for you! Not especially clean. A fair amount of litter around. The bathrooms and showers were clean though. Had to listen to some ladies air-compressor for an hour as she pumped up their air mattresses....SUPER...More

Loved this park! Beautiful, clear, blue water. Great that dogs are allowed in a portion of the beach and a great place for families to hike and climb on the dunes. We live in the St. Louis area and are always looking for weekend getaway...More

I have to say, first off, that I hate beaches. All that I have been to have been a huge disappointment until we went to Warren Dunes. It is absolutely beautiful. Nice soft sand, clean beach, beautiful water. This was just a quick stop for...More

We went here on our anniversary and were impressed with the contrast between the gorgeous blue/teal water and white sand and the lush green wood hiking area. There is a campground which we didn't stay at but it is nicely located to the hiking area...More

This is one our family favorite day trips from Chicago suburb. Usually we combine it with some blueberry picking on our way. The park itself is very unique in midwest terms. Huge dune to climb (it is hard), big beach with lots of space always....More

We had a great day climbing the dunes, playing in the sand and swimming in the lake. The dunes have beautiful views from the top, or even the middle if you can't make it to the top! The sand is nice and soft, not much...More

We found this park to be perfect for a beach day with grandkids. The restrooms we used were very clean. Beaches around the world have stuff that washes ashore, we didn't see anything but some straw-like weeds. Picnic tables were perfect for lunch, bought ice...More

Campsite close to the beach.... wasn't too crowded. Large sand dunes... you are allowed inflatables in the water which was a plus. Campsite was large ...downsides were mosquitos and highway noise at night. It is very close to the road. Bring earplugs

I am not one to put down state parks or anything to do with nature but this was bad. We visited the park twice paying the $9 entrance fee. We saw several Park Rangers patrolling the parking lot which was nice but other than that...More

They have bathroom stalls, but it is a very nice bathroom area. I was able to change in the bathroom--it was very clean.

There are pebbles that wash up on shore but this isn't a rock-hunter's paradise. It's a beautiful beach & dunes to climb & sunsets to see. If you want rocks go father north to Petosky or the Apostle Islands.
