My favorite beach in Southwest Michigan. It has suffered some erosion and the beach has shrunk but still the best little beach around.

What a great beach! Family of 5 from suburbs of Chicago and we traveled 1.5 hrs to get there. So worth it!! $10 to park. Good facilities to change. Snack shop with burgers, dogs, ice cream etc. Everywhere was clean. Good sand. The area nearest the parking has a steep drop to the water but a short walk north or... More

This beach is really a lot of fun for couples and families. Bring your beach chairs or beach towels and relax for the day. It is a 2 hour drive from Downtown Chicago and worth a day in a nice setting. It is located in the Dunes and is picturesque and clean. There is an ample parking lot, a snack/hamburger/ice... More

We were bussed in to the Wine Fest, so didn't get to experience the beach at a normal time. But the view from there is perfect. Sunset amazing. Will go back.

We have been coming here for 20 years; used to bring the kids, now the grandkids love it too. Very clean and not too crowded. During the summer season it does cost $10 to buy a daily pass before 5:00 p.m if you do not have a pass. Senior residents of Michigan can get a free yearly pass. Be sure... More

We live in Bridgman so we are very happy with our public beach. There are some great views on the dunes where you can overlook wonderful Lake Michigan, and summer is a great time to get here. They have live music at the beach on Sunday nights. While the food isn't great, you aren't having to pay a ton for... More

We stayed here for 2 days at the Weko Beach Campground (don't stay in the cabins unless it's cooler; there are no fans!) and the beach was great! Calm waters and lots of seashells make it great for kids. There are public bathrooms and a decent restaurant to eat at. At sundown, someone comes to play taps. It's very moving... More

Very clean and lovely beach. I prefer Lake Michigan now over Florida. No sharks, salt, sea critters. Perfect day at the beach. Have a band playing on Sunday evenings through the summer at 7pm. It is free and have great ice cream cones and burgers.

It is the right mix between nature and civilization, a nice place where I have peace, space, lake Michigan, and a cup of coffee after having my lunch
