The fitness center is VERY well equipped. The desk personnel are very pleasant. My wife really loves the outdoor pool. The sauna and hot tub are very well maintained.

Group of girlfriends have been going to spa twice a year for the last 5 years. Each year we notice the steam room in womens locker room doesn't work well- door sticks open, steam doesn't cycle enough, broken eucalyptus spray bottle just lying on floor off the wall, broken tiles, clogged drain...showers need help too. Essentially, yesterday it was a wet, cold room. Also, now only one tea choice. We are hopeful there will be updates soon:)

This is a hidden gem for Boyne. They have done a very nice job of setting up and maintaining this. I really enjoyed the treadmill with built in TV. Nothing like walking off the frustrations of your team not making the plays you just shouted at the TV. In the same sex segregated wet area I was impressed with how large the hot tub was. However my favorite was the steam room. They have a eucalyptus spray that really helps in breaking up chest congestion. It works best when you cycle between steam room and cold shower. When I went there was not a lot of guys so no room was over crowded. Lucky for me at least half of the guys enjoyed the clothing optional, option as I did. I am very use to and comfortable with male nudity as wife and I love to go to Korean Spas and have been members of the YMCA.

I just finished a wonderful day at the spa! I had the Grand Retreat + Eminence Facial and a hair cut. (That's a total of 50 min Swedish Massage, 25 min Scalp Ritual, 50 min Eminence Facial, 50 min Spa Manicure, 50 min Spa Pedicure, 45 min hair cut and style) The staff were all very courteous and the facilities were well-maintained and clean. I arrived at 7:30 am, got checked in and just sat and finished my morning coffee in the relaxation area. There was a lot of bustling about as it seemed like many resort guests use the spa locker room and shower area for their morning workout routines. It would have been more relaxing if the relxation room weren't so close to all the bustle. After that I enjoyed the hot tub in the ladies locker room. One could enjoy the hot tub, sauna, and steam room in the nude as there were separate facilities for men and women. I chose to wear a swim suit. Anna came to get me for my massage at 9. She was excellent. I asked her not to fuss over a full body massage as I would have my hands and feet massaged during my facial, mani, and pedi. She obliged and worked extra on my back and gluts. She moved seamlessly into the Scalp Ritual which was very relaxing and hydrating after a long, dry winter. Finally, she also did my facial and that was wonderful too! The products were all very nice, smelled great and felt awesome. Afterward she lead me to the salon were she also did my manicure. This didn't actually take 50 minutes, but she didn't rush anything. The polish dried hard and is holding up after doing some dishes and other chores. Dawn did my pedicure. She was wonderful to chat with and very experienced (said she's been doing hair and nails for 26 years). I loved that the manicure and pedicure chairs face the big window to look out on the ski hills. I like to people watch. Finally, Hannah did my hair. I ended up donating my hair and she told me she'd take care of shipping it for me. She was very cool and we had a good 'mom chat' about our kiddos. I was so glad to get the length off my hair, but I'm not sure I love the cut. She did do what I asked, it just didn't turn out as flattering as I'd hoped. In total, it was a lovely day. If I could change anything I'd have liked a break between my spa time and my salon time to enjoy the spa facilities some more and really make a day of it.

First of all the girl at the front desk was rude and addressed the needs of other employees before she spoke to customers. No one walked us down to the locker room to show us where to get our shoes/where to dispose them/where to wait for our services. The shellac manicure I had not even two days ago bubbled, looked nothing like the color I selected and appeared chipped immediately because the technician rubbed over it with alcohol immediately after and mess it up. Horrible quality for such a lofty price.
