This is a decent way to spend time when not on the slopes, but it pales in comparison to places like Kalahari in Sandusky. If you are only going to Boyne to experience Avalanche Bay, then I would suggest going elsewhere.

I had been wanting to take my kids here for awhile as I have heard many good things. We had an amazing experience and my kids really enjoyed it. They have different thing you can do including the lazy river. They have smaller waterslides for younger kids. There is an area where you can get some lunch and snacks if... More

We took 4 kids (ages 10, 12, 15, 15) and they loved it. Plenty for them to do and felt safe letting them just go play. We even played and relaxed in hot tub. The power went out due to weather conditions and the employees reacted quickly and effectively. Everyone's safety was first and foremost. To top it off they... More

We come up to Boyne each year and usually go to Avalanche Bay, though as my sons are getting older, finding they are less interested. Prices are pretty high if the kids aren't into it. I think it was $42 per person for any kids over 10 (maybe $30 for 10 and younger?). Went on a Thursday early afternoon, was... More

I have been coming to this water park twice a year since they opened. Some improvements, but mostly the same old, same old. This time we decided to stay in Mountain lodge. Again disappointed. Let me begin. Booked a non refundable rate over a month ago. When it started storming on the weekend we were going, I called and tried... More

My son is 11 now and I was wanting an indoor water park that had plenty of "thrill" water slides and activities so he wouldn't bore easily. This place hit the mark. We just did the day pass and definitely got our money's worth. I (mom) also enjoyed the water slides! Locker rental is digital and you can use a... More

We went right before Halloween and really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were big enough and very well styled in a Swiss Ski House design. The kids loved the water park and the indoor/outdoor pool. The service was great - they do trick or treating that weekend and the kids got a kick out of dressing up and walking around the... More
