Wanting to get a better look at Saginaw Bay we drove a few short miles from Bay City to see this recreational area. Very nice opportunity to walk out to the small beach area to view the bay. Some picnic tables and shelter house. A great place to relax. Ample parking.

The group site was perfect for our weekend cadet camping event. It was spacious and private so we had plenty of room to drill and didn't have to worry about being too loud during early morning PT. The rest of the park also provided us with opportunities to do several activities and the cadets enjoyed their time at the beach... More

The first 1.5 mile, from either end, can get a little congested but a great trek of clean paved paths, well traveled dirt paths with viewing and resting areas scattered throughout. There are 2 tall viewing platforms to see over Tobico Marsh, after that is when it gets pretty deserted. Various birds swoop in on the tops of these platforms... More

Beautiful long beach, not crowded, good place to take the kids or grandkids. Must stop by to walk or run along the shore!

Great Park for camping. Has lots of hiking biking and wetland to explore also great for bird watching. Nice beach but located too far from parking area. Need to clean entire beach in front of picnic area.

We camped there for first time. What a blast all the tricker treaters dressed in costumes and the parents to. Contests and Movies all weekend. Everyone was totally family oriented. We will go again next year.

Went there to go for a walk and check out the beach , it is nice but quite a long walk for very young kids , older folks or someone disabled , a closer access to the beach would be nice

We got in with my friend's state park passport. We saw the lagoon and hiked to the beach. Not sure if the bay is the cleanest place to swim, there was a dead fish on shore but that could have been discarded by a fisherman. (this was my first time on Lake Huron). I did get my feet wet and... More
