Used to be a beautiful park with lots of trees for shade and a music shell. Now only grass left is unshaded. The music shell needs work, but they spent the money on a hugh pavilion for ice skating. So now park is mostly cement...More

A good spot to get rolled, that's about all. Not sure why Bay City would have a sculpture that looks like and has been actually nicknamed the toilet seat but it has. Could it be because a big name, big money individual "created" it? This...More

Our beloved Pearl in the center of the park (known as the toilet seat) has grown with our city and is now loved by most. Great green space and waterfront views for sunrises and sunsets. Good venue for concerts and events. Hopefully the new pavilion...More

Watch boats on the river, take a walk, fish. Nice park for a picnic, or just relaxing on the river. Close to bars and shopping or hotels

The walk near the dock where the Appledore rests is a lovely way to experience Bay City. We walked at sunset for nearly a mile along the river, saw two wedding parties, and enjoyed the park atmosphere in the middle of the city.

We have attended quite a few festivals here this summer and have really enjoyed all of them. The park is clean and kept up well. It's within walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and bars.
