We've done three shows here and I'm waiting for the next one. The last one we saw was the Nutcracker, so much fun with the old tunes and characters resembling so many famous persons. Loved it!

This is a wonderful place to take the family. Very affordable and so much fun. Kids and adults enjoy the shows. Planetarium is such a cool place to learn about space, rivers etc. We usually do at least 2 shows when we go.

Took my son to the Pink Floyd show. The 7pm show was full so the staff added an 8pm and 9pm so all that arrived could see the show. Really appreciated that! We had lots of fun and would definitely go again!

We visited during the Tall Ships Festival. We saw the Mysteries of the Great Lakes movie. We were both offended that the show was promoting a stance casting a lot of blame that people are destroying the great lakes and trying to put forward a "climate change" agenda. I would never take a child to a show there based on our experience because I would not want them exposed to a skewed "leftist" message.

The planetarium itself is a nice venue. Stick to planetarium star shows.

My husband and I visited the planetarium yesterday with our 6-year-old grandson. We arrived about an hour prior to the children's show. The building is super easy to find, as it is bright and interesting architecture. We had a difficult time determining the entrance, as it is not marked at all. We purchased our tickets for "The Enchanted Reef." We thought we could spend an hour perusing the displays, but it only took about ten minutes. The photos and displays in the exhibition area were at an adult's eye level, so NOTHING was appropriate for a child's viewpoint. We left the planetarium for half an hour. We returned in time for the show, which started seven minutes late. Following the movie portion of the presentation, my husband and I both said, "I have no idea what the point of that was." Our grandson didn't get it either. The show continued with a look at the night sky. The docent did a fine job. Next the audience was able to choose a roller coaster ride based on a planet. That short experience was the best part of the visit.

We thought after seeing information on the plantetarium on line that it would be interesting and fun. Never been to one before. They have one showing a day. Just one and in the summer they said when we went inside they only have children shows, with kiddy characters. Wish there brochure would have mentioned that to us. The shows in the summer are for kids around 4 , 5 years old.

This little gem of a planetarium is set right in the middle of the charming town of Bay City. The planetarium has excellent programs introduced by a very good moderator named Mike. The audience when we attended was composed of families with children ages two through teenaged, and all seemed entertained. The seats were comfortable and the place was immaculately clean. The entrance fees are quite low ($6 for adults, $5 for children and seniors), and the gift shop sells reasonably priced educational toys and books. Highly recommend!

We just happened upon this place right before a film showing. Admission price of $5 was very reasonable so we went in. Very comfortable chairs. Best place to sit is in rear to see the most without straining. A one hour show consisted of a film and some live commentary. If you like planetariums, this is worth your time.
