Friends went to see comedian Rob Little at the theater. The sound was good, the seating comfortable. They have handicap seating also. There is an upstairs. This was built in 1908 and renovated in 2006. They sold munchies and beer and wine before the comedy act. We had a great time.

We attended JimJam in April at State Theatre—this place never disappoints. Specifically for concerts, the acoustics are great and the setting is intimate. Drink prices, wine and beer, are reasonably inexpensive for a theater/concert setting! Within walking distance to many restaurants. Watching a show or concert AT the Star Theatre is as fun as the show or concert itself.

The State Theatre in Bay City might not be a ton to look at from the outside but once you get on the inside it like a whole new world. It was semi recently remodeled to look like an old Aztec Temple. Many many different cool lighting and special effects. Tons of amazing detail pretty much anywhere you look. If you have a chance to catch a good show at the State I would highly recommend it. We went a saw Rob Little comedy show this past Saturday. Oh man is that guy funny! I’m already planning on purchasing tickets to his next show a full year in advance, he was that good!
