This is an excellent waterpark for young kids. I mean that as a good thing; our kids are 7 and 4 and it seems like many water parks are geared toward older kids with super tall/fast slides. My kids all had a blast and even...More
My husband and I took our kids, ages 5 and 9, to this waterpark as a day trip. We wanted to do something different and slightly thrilling without paying an arm and a leg. It was a super hot day (90+ degrees), so we figured...More

Full Blast is a great location. Staff is friendly. We attend the International Floor Hockey Tournament every year and Full Blast is a great location to hold this Tournament. Very safe and appears to have a lot of things to do here.
From the outdoor water park to the indoor walking track!! We like full blast! I do wish the indoor water park was open in the winter time!! We don't have anything like that around here for winter options!
Anyone been on the Night Time Zip Line (0 Replies)
Is the night time zipline worth it? We are wondering if the Full Blast Adventure Center in Durango is worth it. We can't get a daytime reservation for the time we need.

Vegas hotel showers (10 Replies)
What is with the architects of these Vegas hotels??? Vegas is in the desert...you would expect at least a reasonable attempt at water conservation...you see some, a lot of the toilets flush with a thimbleful of water... but when you go to take a shower, you find 2 adjustments for flow...OFF, and FULL BLAST the only adjustment is temp...and if you turn it off to soap up..you have to be frozen/scalded trying to dial the right temp again. How many billion gallons per year are wasted...More

First time I've heard a complaint about a hotel shower having too much good water pressure. I'll bet you also don't like extra pillows and towels in the rooms too because of the "wasted" electrical energy it takes to clean and dry them.
Full Blast adventures zipline worth it? (1 Replies)
We will be in Durango for about 5 days and are considering a zipline tour. Most of what we read is about Soaring treetop adventures which looks great, but comes with a hefty price (over $400 each). We found another tour group called Full Blast adventures (apparently a new one) which has a much shorter zip line, no lunch, no train etc... which is fine with us, but we are wondering if anyone has gone on them or feels they are worth the $145 per person price. Basically we are looking for a fun...More

My family rode the zipline at Full Blast Adventure Center and loved it. My youngest child is five years old so I was a little nervous as to her riding a zipline, but was assured she would do well. After the zipline ride was done she couldn't stop talking about it. My two older boys asked if they can ride the zipline at Full Blast next year too. One thing that is great about this ride is that it doesn't take up an entire day so we could enjoy other activities that Durango, has to offer and my...More
