We have been by Hallet's several times this summer, weekdays and weekends, in the afternoon and early evening, It has not been open. Better call b4 going.

This felt like stepping back into time. We had a large group but were quickly served and everyone had something different -- everybody was pleased with their choice!

My daughter needed a quick snack before we headed on our next driving leg. The ice cream here was expensive but very high quality fresh hand-made right there, and she was very happy with her selection (chocolate). The store itself was clean, with a great historical ambiance.

The past comes alive in Hallet's on Main Street in Yarmouth Port. The store, originally adjoining the owner's house around the corner, was reopened tin the 19th century to attract customers on the road snaking through the center of town. It is truly old fashioned with its good restoration of the original soda fountain that brings to life memories for... More

This old time shop is still set up like the "old days". Old counter and stools and the best Root Beer Float anywhere !

The place is never open like a retail business should be. The owner is rude and I doubt very highly the food fresh.

Good for a sandwich, soda, and nostalgia. In the "heart" of Yarmouth Port, this historic drugstore still has the old woodwork and if you're lucky, local characters.

We happened across Hallet's by accident and happy that we did. As you enter you feel like you've taken a step back in time. We ordered a bowl of their famous clam chowder, shared a tuna salad sandwich and a bottle of Hallet's rootbeer. All were really tasty. They have large cans of their chowder available for sale which is a... More

The store is original and refurbished solely for the purpose of transporting you back to a fun, easy time. The owners grandfather started the business and all of his ice cream recipes are followed to this day. In this atmosphere it is easy to talk or read the history of the town. We bought the book of early town/store photographs... More

Awesome flavors and wonderful hard scooped cream. I just wish there were kids sized portions. Our twin grandkids (4 yrs old) didn't need to eat $8 of this great ice cream. I think all 4 of us could have split one cone!
