Gray's Beach and the Boardwalk is located off of Rte. 6A and well-worth the visit. A very serene and relaxing spot to visit. The beach area is small, and many people use kayaks or paddle boards. The Boardwalk is approx. 800' long over the marshlands - lots of nature to see, including Ospreys in their nests. There are picnic tables,... More

We live nearby and never get tired of visiting this beach and Boardwalk. My husband loves to play the bagpipes while walking out the boardwalk at sunset. N

This is a unique Cape beach. It's especially fun for families because the water isn't deep, there are plenty of crabs and little fish to try to catch, and it's not very big. It's also free! My husband and I live in Yarmouth Port and will often take a bike ride or drive to Gray's Beach, then walk the boardwalk.... More

We recently visited Gray's beach during our trip to Cape Cod. Great boardwalk. Keep an eye out for seals! We walked from town, which was not an overly far walk, but it really is not too pedestrian friendly as there are no sidewalks.

Come when tide is receding, take the long boardwalk to discover intertidal marine life, e.g. numerous fiddler crabs. While charmed by bird chirping, soaking in the view of silver and golden toned beach in Dennis - wading through central islet and cross over there is possible. Free parking, and a small boat loading dock.

Please note that this beach is very, very small. If I had to estimate, I'd say it's less than 100 feet long and maybe 20 feet wide at low tide. Although shallow, Gray's is good for swimming because the water is protected from the ocean by an inlet. But again, the beach itself is super small. However, the boardwalk is... More

I was here to see Sunset. Most of the water that is here is from backwaters of Ocean and pretty much stagnant on one side of the walkway bridge and because of this, the mosquitoes are way too many to handle. Better carry a bug spray. With the mosquitoes and narrow path on the bridge, I would rather prefer to... More

We stopped here one morning as it was close to our Inn - and we were so glad we did! We enjoyed our stroll down the boardwalk - with the pretty water views and coastal birds. We sat at the end for a good long time - soaking in the sounds and smells of the ocean - it was just... More

Rustic beach with small sandy beach. Good boat dock. At low tide you can walk across the channel to Dennis. Boardwalk is great at sunset. You'll have lots of company!

Easy parking (no fee after 4pm), long wharf to walk out over marsh with beautiful view. No bugs at all on this breezy evening. We saw a seal swim right over to the wharf. Bring chicken legs, a roll of string, scissors, a net & pail to catch crabs. (Just catch & release for fun).
