This place is a cross between a children's museum, playground, and wildlife center. The primary building has 3 floors, with a different theme on each. The train ride is cute but is geared more for younger children (perhaps 5 and under) as is the playground area. The bubble area is really cool and engaging for kids of all ages, even... More

We went this week- twice! Perfect for my almost 6 year old and toddler. This place has really grown on me! My son learned a lot and had a blast. The toddler loved the train and shaded playground. There is a limited lunch stand with affordable kid options. We will be going there again soon!!!

My cousin invited my kids to the EcoTarium and I had never been so was looking forward to it. It was a great place! Note: It can be EXTREMELY busy during the Summer with the camps so keep an eye on your kids! I think we explored 3 indoor floors and the kids all had a great time. There were... More

I love the EcoTarium and have been coming faithfully since my children were little. This is an awesome way to teach children all while they are engaging in fun activities. There is a nice assortment of outdoor activities as well as indoor exhibits. Most are hands on inside. We stayed the entire day, took the train ride, ate at the... More

I brought my two year old here. He liked seeing the large stuffed animals and the bubble station outside. It is not as good as the Boston children's museum. I expected to see more dinosaur skeletons, there was one structure of a dinosaur outside and a skeleton of a flying dinosaur but that was it. The tanks only had turtles,... More

Great place for children to visit during the warmer months. The outdoor activities will engage all ages. The tree zip line is quite the experience for one who has never tried it.

I have taken my grandson to the EcoTarium several times now and it is always a great time. The outdoor attractions are good for small kids, there is a playground area, short hiking trails, and some animals. The train has not been running on the days we were there so if that is important, better check ahead. The exhibits change... More

Met up with my cousin and her teenage kids who came from Florida on a quick trip. Chose this location as a midpoint since we were driving up from New Jersey with a toddler. Not to far from the center of the city. Easy to find. All the kids and even my serious husband had a decent time. The wind... More

In existence for over 50 years, we stumbled upon an advertisement and decided to check EcoTarium out. We arrived at opening time and there was a bit of a backup to get through the gate. You pay at the main gate to the grounds. Once your in you can park in the upper or lower lot but both are easily... More
