I have taken my grandson to the EcoTarium several times now and it is always a great time. The outdoor attractions are good for small kids, there is a playground area, short hiking trails, and some animals. The train has not been running on the days we were there so if that is important, better check ahead. The exhibits change... More

Met up with my cousin and her teenage kids who came from Florida on a quick trip. Chose this location as a midpoint since we were driving up from New Jersey with a toddler. Not to far from the center of the city. Easy to find. All the kids and even my serious husband had a decent time. The wind... More

In existence for over 50 years, we stumbled upon an advertisement and decided to check EcoTarium out. We arrived at opening time and there was a bit of a backup to get through the gate. You pay at the main gate to the grounds. Once your in you can park in the upper or lower lot but both are easily... More

We visited after seeing that there was a discount in the Breathe NH Fun Pass book and reading decent reviews here on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. It was a really fun time for our 2 kids (6 and 4 years old). Nearly everything is designed with kids in mind, so they can touch, play, explore, experiment, build and just... More

Have gone several times with my children in the past, most recently with my grandchildren. Plenty to explore all around.

Great for the kids, plenty to explore indoors and out. Bring a change of clothes as they can get wet and muddy playing with the water pump. The train ride is a bonus.

The Ecotarium is well-kept and entertaining, enjoyable for the youngsters while still teaching them science. When my kids were little they especially enjoyed walking to the pond to see the large turtle who lives in it, and walking through the woods to visit with the animals. Sadly, Kenda, the resident polar bear, passed away a few years back. She was... More

I visited yesterday with three of my grandchildren aged 2, 4 and 6. They had a great time. They especially enjoyed the live animal presentation as well as the hands-on bubble demonstration stations outside. They generally had a good time and were interested in almost everything there. Easy to spend a couple of hours here with the kids. I think... More

As a former school administrator, now full-time companion with my 4 year old grandson, I explore all of the museums in our area as well as Mass Audubon facilities for us to explore. Ecotarium is a spacious, engaging and stimulating museum for a variety of ages. The interactive display on Mt Washington had my grandson engaged for 30 minutes. The... More

Took my 9 yr. old daughter there. Nice playground and walking area. A few animals and lots of things kids can try and put their hands on. There is a planetarium there we saw the asteroid show. The affects were nice even though the story seemed a little slow.
