Went to the Tiffany/LaFarge exhibit. Rather small, but we expected that. One window had a sign that said that when they were restoring there was one section too far gone to be restored, so a new panel was created. However, the sign did not tell...More

For those who love the arts, while in Worcester make a stop at WAM. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon experiencing life outside the everyday world most of us live. A nice collection, a beautiful building and activities and programs for kids as well.

One of Worcester’s best kept secrets: a world class museum whose permanent collection is worth boasting about - from Sargent watercolors to fantastic Antioch mosaics - all housed in a handsome late 19th century building. Moreover, you can lunch at the museum’s cafe and take...More

In recent years the WAM acquired the collection of armor which had been housed in the Higgins Armory Museum (also in Worcester). A friend and I made the journey to the WAM (three hours round trip) to see the armor collection in its new home,...More

The Worcester Art Museum is like a treasure hunt. Not all of the treasures in this museum jump right out at you, you need to look for them. This is the type of small museum that is worth visiting over and over so you can...More

Good Morning!!!! Soup sounds good but have no idea if they sell a cookbook. I'm sure if you call the museum they could answer your question.

Worcester public transportation (4 Replies)
My family will visit Worcester midJune. I wonder if there is any public transportation from Residence inn to Worcester art museum and Eco tarium. If there is no public transportation, I want to know about taxi riding in terms of safety and fare. Thank you in advance.

There is really not much for public transportation in Worcester. Looking at Google Maps it is only about 2 miles from the Residence Inn to the Ecotarium. So a taxi would probably cost less than $5 plus tip.
