About
Annie's Book Stop of Worcester is the only general-reading independent book store in Worcester. We offer many genres of books, new and used, all at discounted prices. We also have gift items, audios, greeting cards and gift certificates. We also offer two to seven special events each week, from children's crafts to book signings to discussion groups. Our event guests are artists, authors & Celebs.

Small but stocked with books. The large majority of them are paper backs and a lot were old and musty smelling. Not what I was expecting. They must take everything people drop off as opposed to a place like the Book Barn in CT that is very picky on what they take. Nice to see a non chain bookshop and they do sell some used. The one off putting thing was the lady working there, who seemed very nice, talked to herself constantly. It was odd and somewhat distracting to be honest.

If you are a book person, such as myself, you MUST take the time to stop and visit Annies Book Stop. Make sure you give yourself enough time to peruse the many, overflowing shelves that Annies has to offer. Annies offers something for everybody and even had Curious George visiting the other day!

We visit Annie's Book Stop regularly. If you love to read and want books at a low price, this is the place to go. Popular authors, Dr. Who toys, great and friendly staff. I only paid $2.99 for a book Barnes n Nobles wanted $24.99 for. Same new condition. This is a must stop at for book lovers everywhere.

This tiny storefront almost lost in a strip mall opens up to a beautiful labyrinth of books, art, toys, and more. There's a mix of used and new books, which gives a variety of price points. I ended up going in for an event hosted by a local writers group Worcester Storytellers, and I was welcomed with open arms and invited to read. I also found out that the book also hosts an LGBTQIA book club! I will be returning her many times!
