A small aquarium/research/rehabilitation facility is perfect to visit when you go to Woods Hole, Mass. In the tiny downtown area, the 2 story building houses mostly Atlantic fish, and other sea creatures in interesting tank displays with good information. Models of sea turtles and the...More

We drove here for the grandchildren to see fish because the Aqarium in Boston was so busy on Sunday we didn't see half of the displays. This is nice, small aquarium to visit. You can even go to the 2nd floor to see down into...More

Great fish to view, excellent displays and a fun visit to the second floor to touch some sea creatures and view the tanks from above.

I learned a lot about their conservation efforts and the ongoing studies that they are conducting. It was interesting to also be able to see into the aquarium exhibits by looking from the top down into the aquarium.

Small but very interesting aquarium specializing in local marine species. The best part of visiting this place is the area where the aquarium adjoins the working area of the marine biologists who work here. There is a small pool where creatures can be gently touched...More

The aquarium had a nice selection of sea creatures. There are steps if this is a problem, but those areas can be avoided if necessary.

Nice little place. Not big but informative. Worth a visit while in Woods hole. The area is within walking distance of Woods Hole Science Museum.

As you don't have to pay anything, its for sure worth the money. Quiet a few fish though in the tough tank (that's why we came) there were only a few crabs and some small fish.

The prices is right as it is free. A great attraction that although small, is highly informative, highly interactive, and has super staff even this is mostly self guided. Can get a little crowded on rainy days.

I believe the comments from Lou Y are correct. My sense is that this is more of a science and study center for the National Marine Fisheries than a aquarium build just for tourists. I still recommend you go, however its... More
